Mary - Thank you, Thank you - for doing this countdown for us every week. I have looked forward to Sunday mornings for so long now, just to see your countdown. Hard to believe it is in one week now. Again, Thank you so very much for all you and Mark, and Flo have done to make this thread so much fun.

Congrats to the and winners last night. You guys sure were chatty. And I loved reading your conversations this morning. I wish I could have stayed up to chat too, but, I was too tired.

We didn't do the balloon at DTD in June. We watched it and it looked like fun. Will love to hear if any of you get a chance to do it and how it was.

Sue - your memory of Mickey was, I think, one of the best I have heard of. Wow. What a special Mickey that was and the family just had to be so touched. I know I was just reading your story of it. I think that says it all right there about why we all love Disney so much. Because they care and make everyone feel so special!

Our favorite must do. . . . .there are so many. It is hard to choose. But I do have to ride Rockin Rollercoaster and Tower of Terror. My two favorite rides.

Dianne - hope your DGD feels better soon and you are able to get some rest. We don't need you getting run down on us. Take care.

Flo - that pork roast sounds wonderful. Love to use the slow cooker for that. Yummmo

It's pretty quiet this morning! Everyone is either sleeping in, or just getting ready for the cruise and our Sailaway Party this afternoon!

This is gonna be a lazy day for me. Got most of the laundry done the other day. I should straighten up the house, but don't wanna. Should go outside and work in garden, but don't wanna. Maybe after bit I will get outside and sit by the pool.

But I do wanna be at the Sail Away Party!

I can't remember this one - Are there towels available on CC or do you need to bring your own?

I am finishing my laundry right now and I have started the chili in the slow cooker. I can't wait to see how it comes out.

KellyJean and Flo - that's right!! Now I remember! They stand there and hand them to you just after you get off the ship and then there's a bin for the dirty ones as you come back!! Senior moment!! hehehe

Sorry Sue, I'm a little slow today.

DH just came in and said the pool is up to about 86 degrees. We'll be able to go swimming today!

It is gorgeous here. The high is supposed to be right around 80. It is going to be a great day!

Glad you will be able to use the pool. This is one of those years were it is hit or miss for a pool. It is humid here. The temp and the humidity are the same 68 right now. Oh with rain in the forcast.

Flo - yes we haven't been able to use the pool as much as we would like this year. In fact, I need to get out there. Too bad your weather is kinda crappy today. Makes for a dreary day. But 4:00 o'clock should brighten your day.

Hello to all of you going on the Members' Cruise next week! Having been on 3 of them in the past we understand your excitement at this point! We are going on the Magic in October but we will also be thinking of you on SSMC09. Want to share a nice story - yesterday we drove down to the ocean here in Maine. Dan was wearing a DCL hat & a young man asked his which cruise he had been on. Turns out they had just returned from a trip on the Magic and while on it joined DVC! They haven't even been to WDW yet but are already in the fold. So who knows - maybe next year they'll be on the members cruise. Happy sailing to you all

Yup, I thought about us going next Sunday when I was taking guests out to the motorcoach to go on the cruse today!

Next week it'll be US! Also, a couple of emails came through discussing SSMC09 so that made it real, too. Plus when I checked the schedule...Hey! I'm OFF!

Ok so I haven't been back to bed yet. I have been to the grocery store...And yes I didn;t buy that much, in fact We bought things to make BLTs and pork steaks w/ corn on the cob, and for T, W , TH, I have frozen dinners
will go out for dinner friday and board the plane Sat..

No more dishes for me, after Monday
