This was in the Orlando Sentinel:

Preliminary reports show a Walt Disney World cruise ship rescued a man at sea who had fallen from another ship overnight.

According to a report on WFTV-Channel 9, Disney Wonder picked up the man and sailed him to Port Canaveral. The man told authorities this morning he had fallen from another ship that had preceeded the Disney craft.

That is amazing. I am glad he was able to be spotted. I wonder how long he was in the water.

I know. i am glad he is ok. They have not updated the article. I keep checking. It is like once a week some falls off a Carnival Ship. I saw it some place else don't remember were it was the Carnival Sensation.

Good Morning! I hope everyone has a WONDERful day. This time next week we should be on the road heading for fun. Hopefully, we would have been on the road for a few hours by now.:cool1::banana:

In the article I found, it says he was an employee of the ship. Of course, the article says they are still searching for him. I am trying to find the latest info.

Morning Marsha!

I can not believe it. The time has gone by pretty fast. :woohoo: We fly out on Friday. How is Charles doing at day care these days.

Oh Wow! AN employee! That is very interesting.

Nevermind my previous post. The article I was looking at was from January 2009. I found a couple of articles pertaining to people falling from a Carnival ship.:scared1:

Good Morning Flo. Charles is doing much better at daycare. He is still having a hard time following directions but he is 2 and is getting better. Thank you for asking.

How is the job search?

I just said to my DH there are way to many people falling of the Carnival ships. To me it is real scarey.

Reports show a Walt Disney World cruise ship rescued a man in the Atlantic Ocean overnight who had fallen from another ship.

The 34-year-old man remains aboard the Disney Wonder at Port Canaveral this morning.

U.S. Coast Guard records show the Disney ship picked up the man near Port St. Lucie sometime after midnight. He had fallen from the Carnival Sensation cruise ship shortly after 11 p.m. Wednesday.

It is unclear how the man fell from the cruise ship.

A chopper and two boats from the Coast Guard in Miami had tried to find the man, but the Disney craft spotted him first.

Preliminary reports show the man is in good health and requested to be returned to Carnival Sensation.

That is good someone was able to find him so quickly and he is not seriously injured.
