Good evening everyone! Had to go back to read what I missed while at dinner. DB and DSIL came over, we ordered cheesesteaks out ( and for all of you who do not live in this area, they would be original authentic cheesesteaks) and finished up one of our adult FE gifts - they came out soooo cute!! I can't wait to give everything away!! :rotfl:

Hi Flo -

Just got done catching up. Boy, busy bees today, as always. :thumbsup2

We dont' have any of those Portillo's (sp) here in Iowa. Sounds good though!

Sue - my goodness woman, I can't wait to meet you. You are truly amazing. Your stories and the comments you make, just had me in tears again tonight. You are one amazing person! Wish I could be more like that.

I hope I can be around this Sunday for the party. I really need to go find some blue shoes to go with my dress for Palos. If I don't, I may be going barefoot! :scared1: All I have are black dress shoes because I usually wear black dress clothes. But this year DH wanted me to find a new dress and it is navy blue and I have no shoes for it. So we have been talking about going shopping on Sunday. So if I miss it, I will be there in thought.

Sorry to be a repeater but I could go for some chocolate right now! :rotfl:

Congrats on the :bride: and pirate: winners today. That is such a fun game. And thanks to Gary for keeping score for us. :)

I also don't think they would let you on the plain with that. But that would be good.

Nope, I am a Food Network Junkie. And I love to watch Diners, Drive Ins and Dives with Guy Fiori. He has been in Philly and shown them being made. I just want to travel with that guy, Guy - :lmao:, and eat where he eats. I would be in food heaven. :thumbsup2 And as large as a house! :rotfl:

sue, yeah...i have a LOT of clothes! ...and shoes. My parents are like that and so when my mom goes out and sees something that would look good on me she gets it! If I ever look really put together and someone compliments me i tell them i will let my mom know she did a good job! they usually look at me funny since this is coming from the mouth of a married, business woman who is 29 yrs old!

a cheesesteak sounds real good. we have a place down the street that makes killer ones. maybe for dinner tomorrow.

i won't be here on sunday, going to hampton beach nh with my dh, ds, mom and dad.m we leave sat am.

think i might get ready for bed now, my toe is killing me.

we used to send bread to my aunt when she lived in georgia becasue it wasn't the same as here. pizza is terrible in the south if you grew up in ny. we asked a guy once when we were down there and he said he used to own a place in ny, same recipe he used in both places and so much different in fl, he really believes that it is the water. who knows!

i still want to go to a chic-filet (sp?) i see them everywhere in orlando and i am told they are pretty good.
