I got tickets for opening day to the walt disney museum in san francisco!!



I was told that opening day was sold out, but I got tickets...will be there for a conference after the cruise, and this is something I didn't want to miss...I decided it is too much trouble to fly from SF to LA and back again and then fly home, so we will forego the DL two day trip and do that at a later date. But I am so excited!!!

Wow, have an awesome time!

Woo Hoo - we got our documents today!

Funny thing is with online check-in the package is so small. I remember the old days where it came in what looked like a little suitcase.

Yes they are for getting from the porters (where you drop them off) to your cabin. Put them on before you arrive at the terminal.

I know, maybe four luggage tags is not a big deal, but it just makes it seem that much closer for our cruise!

The excitement is building. And just knowing that we are going, and that Disney knows we are going, is beyond happiness. It will feel like coming home when we get on that ship. We love things that we are comfortable with, and this is ohhhh so comforting!

Well I'm going to be chatting for a while because my DN is coming home from NC with little DS on board and we have to meet them at a stop about an hour from here to pick him up, somewhere around midnight, because they are going directly to the shore with the trailer. So come on cruisers, let's talk.

Man, I just responded to a lot of posts and my computer froze and I lost them all. So frustrating.

Some of the things I remember are that we have never been to Disneyland. Hope to get there someday, but we love WDW.

Annmare - that is an interesting analogy of the way DVC is doing the theme this year. Good way to put it.

Sue - Too cool if we could be the first to book the new ships.

Mary - I agree the package gets smaller every time I think.

Oh, Dave, the weather here stinks right now. I don't think mother nature knows that it is the end of August and we are to be in the 90's with 100% humidity and just miserable. No, it is in the upper 60's to low 70's and freezing! We need to wear jackets/sweatshirts. This never happens this time of year. It is more like Fall around here. It's wrong I tell ya, just wrong.

I was just doing the same thing. I'm not usually on a laptop, but DH and I were trying to relax before our trip to pick up DS, and I had an entire post ready to go, and poof! gone.

I'm with you - generally speaking - so we were just deciding if we should take a little nap! Talk about pathetic!

But even on vacation, I can usually make it til about 1 am. After that, I'm toast!.

My house is a total mess, and I'm now in the middle of changing little DS into the bigger of the two upstairs bedrooms. I really need to clean the house and do wash - wait, did I just say I wanted to clean - I must be tired!!

Thanks but I'm not sure if it is their thinking! I am liking Sue's post! Could you imagine that? I would love it unless the catch is to buy more points!

well we got our docs today.
here is my complaint... we got two luggage tags each for the cruise but only one each for our flight from albany to orlando.
i called member services and they told me that they would not send me two more tags. That if I had a baggage claim number that they would grabs those for us also at MCO but that doesn't sound safe enough for me. I think we will have to just grab our own extra bags and bring them to SSR ourselves.
but why? why can't they send me two more tags. they say it is becasue most airlines charge for more than one bag per person, even so, if i am willing to pay why would they not accomidate? besides, we are flying southwest and they still let you have two bags per person.
anyway, i feel better now! thanks all!

I also only got one luggage tag each for the airline, but because we are also flying southwest, I am bringing two bags each. I called directly to ME and they sent me more tags within days

I just came in from outside with Brooke. She was having me help her with her volleyball drills. Kinda fun. Wish they would have had that when I was in school, many years ago.
