Oh COol! That means we should be getting are to. Something to look forward to.

DVC Members & Cruising

I don't know if other DVC members know this or not but...

I just found out a few minutes ago from DCL that if you are a DVC member and not cruising on points you may not be getting any goodies, this is a cost saving measure. But if you have your DVC member card you can stop by the DVC desk on the 4th floor and they will have some small gifts. PLus DVC members will still get an invitation to the onboard reception.

Saw that on the main board. So that means we wouldn't get the log book with lanyards inside or the DVC magnet. Not enough to worry me. The best gift we ever got was the double wide towel we won at the reception.

Of course this is on regular cruises not this cruise.

We got our cruise travel kit in the mail today, too! My sister had to wait until I got home from work to open it. It was driving her nuts. She was hoping information on the theme would be included, but it wasn't

We are having unusually hot weather here. Yesterday we had a record temp of 98 degrees. Today was a little better at 90. We are not used to such warm weather here in Monterey. Of course, none of us have air conditioning.

Well if that is it than no worries. I had gotten the idea that it was the room gifts that were the cut back but I hadn't heard anything directly from DVC myself.

Good morning everyone - happy Wednesday!

Getting mail from DCL is always fun but don't expect too much from this mailing. If I remember last year it was just the generic 4 day cruise one which told you which excursions you could book in Nassau. Not trying to put a downer on it...any mail is fun. It would be more helpful if DVC could put up the theme and some info on the website but that will happen when they are ready not when we are (since we already are).

Hello, just checking in as it has been awhile. I too, received our Disney packet yesterday. I also received our Mickey sculpture from last years add on bonus, it is huge! Now I will let my DW decide where she wants to put it.

Just peeking my head in to say hi. We all are doing well....I've just been working like crazy (14 hr days) along with the girls activities. I'm glad to see a Part 2....that means a lot of planning and meeting going on.

We have not yet received anything from DCL about the cruise. We always seem to be behind the power curve compared to everyone else. Oh, well. But it is nice to know there is something on the way!

What one thing do you want to do while on CC?

If you can believe this, we have never been to the observation tower! I want to try and hit that this time.

We did bikes and the observation tower a couple of cruises ago and loved it!

I think we are going to try for the cabana massages again. They felt so good last time.

Other than that our only plans are the group picture on the beach and relaxing!

Michael and I want to rent bikes and go to the observation tower. Looks like fun. The group photo we want to do and the best one....take 2 chairs, place them in the water, sit down and ahhhhhh relax and enjoy.... I know it's more than one thing....

David...we got our Mickey statue last week...it's awesome. I love it.

Hello!

Had my Disney packet waiting for me when I got home today.

Mary is right all it is the little planing guide but like she said it is always fun to get something from them.

I do have a question about it though? THe reason being is mine was taped in the back. All that was in mine is the booklet, is that all that everyone received.
