09/12/10 - DVCers Take Over the Wonder (S.S. Member Cruise 2010) - Thread #1

I would prefer to fly in early too and tried to get anything out Saturday night - DH has to work until 6pm on Saturday - no changing his weekends - but nope nothing - so we are out at 9am on Sunday...we will pray for good luck.

We discussed transportation and I don't want to waste time waiting for Disney transportation plus it is quite a savings to rent the car. Good to know we can drop the luggage as soon as we get there. How many luggage tags do they send you???

We had not intended to have the rental at BLT after the cruise since our intent is to do MK and EPCOT only and of course with the monorail there is NO need for the car. SO we will rent to drive from MCO to the port and probably do Disney transportation to BLT.

Coming from Iowa - it is not good to fly out on the same day. We are renting a car to go to the port but taking Disney transport back to BLT. Maybe we will be on the same bus?????

I know trying to get a flight to Lincoln, NE or Billings, MT - where DHs family is is IMPOSSIBLE!!! Is it the same with you???

That would be fun! I would be ready & waiting. Plus, we have a small air strip near where we live so you could land the jet without any problems. Or, maybe Patuxent Naval Air Station would let you land the jet there. Forget that idea, I do not want you to be handcuffed and thrown in jail for trying to pick me up so we could get our Disney fix.
