EVERYONE MUST BE DOING THE SAME THING WE ARE, PADDLING AROUND IN THE POOL WITH A MOJITO IN ONE HAND
THOUGHT ID POST A MESSAGE AGAIN TO GET OUR THREAD BACK TO THE FIRST PAGE.

i see posting in here where maryland had earthquake. I havent heard yet, what was the magnitude and where was the centre. Any damage?
Too bad you can't swim yet. But isn't the water really cold? I mean our pool is up around 88 degrees. 86 is ideal. I won't even get in if it is below 80. We have a thermal heater and a gas heater that we use to get the pool warmed up in the spring and then we put a solar blanket on the pool at night to keep the warmth in. We love our pool. In it every night after work and then on the weekends. It is so relaxing. How big of a pool did you get? Is it an above ground pool? You are gonna love it!
We laughed because we put the solar cover on as soon as it was full and about 6" down it is SOOOO warm and then - COLD!!! I LOVE cold water - DH needs his to be warm!!! He gets cold easy. We got a 18' round above ground and cannot wait to get in. Today they hooked up the filter and brought our stairs - they were back ordered - so the girls and I will probably take a swim tomorrow!!!
I forgot we do have a thermometer - I have to go put that in!!!
IVE BEEN DOING GARDENING IN THIS SUNNY HOT HUMID WEATHER. GOt stung by WASPS the other day, I was lying under some shrubs trimming didnt realize they were there. Got me about 5 times. One stinger must of hit a bloodvessel, it swelled up looks like bruise with big red area. My wife the RN told me to take Benydryl just in case and watch to see if im allegic. There seem to be many this year. EVERYTHING IS EARLY HERE THIS YEAR.
We would drive 10 hours to ANNAPOLIS just to eat CRAB CAKES. We had great Crab Omelettes at this NYC style Deli right in old part of Annapolis. I think its called Ruth and Chucks. im not sure. They still run and work in it and very friendly. We stayed across the street from the Govenors Mansion in old Annapolis. Laura actually lured a cat from the back of the Mansion at night to pet.The hotel we stayed in had a room with glass floor so you could look down to see where they brought the prisoners from I think Spanish American WAR.
Marsha, Scott & anyone else from the Maryland area, hope all is well. The news was just reporting on an earthquake out there. How scary. Be safe.
I can't believe I didn't have pages and pages to catch up on. Although the pool is up and full - they have not come to hook up the filter - they are waiting on a part so I have had a pool in my yard for three days and can't swim!!!!
We are building the deck ourselves - my Dad, DH and I - so hopefully that goes smooth. My Dad is excited about having a purpose - but he is not able to work like he used to. I have to tell myself that it os ok if it takes him longer - he and DH built our shed - in two days from the ground up with siding.
Anyways----we only booked the floats for two days and bikes for one day. I didn't know if we needed to do it now or could do it there - but I went ahead and listed them now....plus I needed some type of Disney work!!
Off to work and then grocery shopping - I haven't been for a couple of weeks and we are out of A LOT!!!!
Have a great Friday all - the weekend is almost here!!!

Good morning! Hope everyone is having a WONDERful weekend so far!
We would like to go on next year's member cruise, but we'd really like to take the kids the first time we go on the Dream, and since the cruise is in September, they can't go since they're in school. So, we may do a 3 night cruise when they are on fall break on October.
I'm not one of those parents who refuses to take my kids out of school. We took DS out of Kindergarten and 2nd grade for a week each time to go to WDW/DCL. In 2nd grade it was a surprise, he had absolutely NO idea. I packed his and DD's clothes while they were at school/daycare and put the suitcases in the trunk of the car. So they never even saw the suitcase. So, when we got to the airport and DS saw his luggage he started CRYING!He was devastated that we took him out of school. So, we told him we wouldn't take him out of school anymore to go on vacation.
