The Disney Party was like the get together that Disneys has for the members only on the cruise (Normal cruises not members only cruise). We got a invitation by e-mail to come to a party. Well, basically it was just to get people to sign up to becaome DVC members and members to add points on. The incentives were money off or a free 3 night cruise. Yes, the did have if you add 250 points you got to go on the members cruise. Hoping they have some good incentives on the cruise! The cast members all said you get alot of stuff. Does anyone know what they gave last year?

When we arrived at our room this is what we saw.

Inside the Mickey suitcases were a DVC water bottle, license plate, gym bag, luggage tag, frame, and hat.

The book included scenes that were cut from movies like Snow White.

After dinner the last night, waiting in our room was a swan, our luggage tags, and other materials regarding the disembarkation process. We also had some stuff in our fish extender the group photo that we took earlier that day and a Disney pin.

Packing was a chore. With all of the gifts that we received we had to rearrange our suitcases a couple of times. We were glad we brought an extra suitcase and were also glad that we had the duffle bags that we had been given as a gift earlier in the cruise.

Hi all!!:wave2: Thanks for all the info on transportation - we are now really confused what to do:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: so many options!!!

I took the girls to see the new Shrek yesterday - it was really good - that Donkey is always good for a laugh and they both enjoyed it!! It rained here like crazy yesterday!

112 DAYS!!!!:yay::yay::yay::yay::yay::yay: Can we go NOW?!?!?!?!?!

Hope everyone has a great day!!!

Just back from Rhode Island, DDIL graduated from Rodger Williams Law School.
My DD-DSIL-DGD will be driving from Ga. and parking at the port. Anything they need to know?
The rest of us -DS, DDIL, DGM, DH and ME[!] will be taking the ME from the airport and then back to OKW.

CONGRATS to your DDIL!!!

Hi all! I hope eveyone is enjoying their weekend. DH and I went and saw Robin Hood today. We enjoyed it very much!

We also just played a round of tetherball in front yard. I used to play for hours when I was 14. My body has just informed me that I am no longer 14 :sad2:

Terrie :)

I loved playing tether ball when I was a kid! We went to see Shrek and Iron Man 2 last night at the drive in. They were both good movies!

Today we had to go to my DH's uncle's funeral, then dress shopping with the youngest DD for her eighth grade graduation in June. Tomorrow is my niece and nephew's gradution from HS. I also need to plant flowers, do laundry and try to get some of my family time in. I just can't believe my niece and nephew (twins) are graduating. That means my oldest DD is just days away from becoming a Senior in HS. And she really can't do that already! I mean just because she is 17 doesn't mean she can go and be a Senior on me. I know, time flies when you are having fun.

Sorry to have such a long post, but when I am unable to get on for a while I just go crazy when I do.

Have a great evening! :flower3:

Sorry to hear about your DH's uncle. And CONGRATS to your DD with her eighth grade graduation!

Getting ready to watch Lost! WooHoo!

I hope everyone had a good weekend. We went to church today, then shopping at Wal-Mart, and then came home. I baked two lemon pound cakes today. Getting my baking out of the way for Memorial Day Weekend. Some friends will be coming over Saturday. Can anyone tell I am ready for the three day weekend to be here. But, of course, I have to get through the week and it is going to be a busy one.

We have the DVR set because I can't deal with commercials!!!:lmao: DH is so excited - he has been waiting for this since Tuesday!!!!

We went to church then to my dad's for brunch and then to dinner with MIL and FIL and Red Lobster:cloud9:. I blew my diet (I'm on a quest to be thinner for the cruise!) with one of those chocolate fudge filled warm cookies with ice cream !!!

I can't believe LOST is ending - what will I do with my time!!!!

Morning! :goodvibes

Thanks for the thoughts about DH's uncle. It really was a blessing for him though. He had diabetes and were starting to remove his legs and stuff, so he is in a better place.

Not a Lost watcher here but my youngest DD is. It is recorded so she can watch it later. I watched the Brooks & Dunn special last night and it was great. Sad to see them ending their duo career.

Well, dress shopping on Saturday was a pain the in the hiney! We couldn't find anything that a) either fit or b) was suitable for her graduation. We finally found a dress at the last store we looked in. It is a little fancy for her graduation but I told her that she could wear it for homecoming, if she goes, and she can bring it on the cruise. So, not so bad. She will get many uses out of it.

Marsha - the count down looks better and better all the time! :)

Well, need to get working. Have a great day!!!!!

Hello All,

I stayed up watching Lost and was a little disappointed in the ending when I went to bed. After thinking about it and then reading some other people's perspectives and DH's, I now understand the ending a little better. All in all it was a good show.

Chris - I am glad you found a dress for DD. And, you are right, the countdown is looking better and better each week.

Ian - Enjoy sitting by the pool. I am jealous.

Reedemed - I too cannot wait to see the gifts this year and to find out who the special guests are.

I enjoyed LOST - but was sad it was over - I guess I expected something more Earth shattering than what I perceived as people becoming aware of their past lives and how we are connected to some people on a very deep level.

Tonight is the series finale of 24. I can't take all this TV ending!!!!

Ian - I want to come and join your party!!!

So, this morning, DH asked me if DD7 had any clean clothes anywhere beside her closet. "Um...no, honey, why?" His reply was that she had no clean short sleeved polo's in her closet. Her school has a dress code...they have to wear certain colored polo style shirts with a collar. So...with FIVE days left in the school year, she went to school for the first time all year out of uniform! I know, earth shattering, right?! :lmao: I was just waiting for that phone to ring at work asking me to come and pick her up because she was "out of uniform". Lucky for that school...no phone call! Because I think I might have had to give them a piece of my mind about their dress code. I'm sorry...I'm "old school" and think the kids should be able to wear their own style (as long as it's within reason!).

So....guess I'll be doing :laundy: all evening!

:dance3: (doing the "sarcastic" dance....I'm NOT happy to be doing laundry all evening.) :sad2:

GOOD MORNING!

Ian, you will be able to book excursions and/or make reservations on the cruise this coming Sunday. Are you going to make any reservations or book any excursions?

Have a blessed and wonderful day!

I forget where we left off with the bottles of rum.....94 - I think - :rotfl2::rotfl2: oh well sounds like a good place to start!! :lmao:
94 bottles of rum on the wall, 94 bottles of rum....take one down pass it around......:rotfl:

Is it too early for rum?:upsidedow
