I have not seen the movie yet. I wanted to read the book first. Plus, I did not have time to go to the movies. I cannot remember the last time I have been to the movie theater. DH, on the other hand, went to see Iron Man last Friday.

I hear that a lot from my friends that are moms that it's hard to find time to go to the movies. We saw Iron Man opening weekend too. I found it entertaining except for Scarlett Joahnsson's big fight scene. It was very obvious that the whole thing was CGI. It looked so...computer-y I am looking forward to Toy Story 3 coming out

Did anyone watch American Idol tonight? I saw one of the cutest moments out of my DD7 while we were watching it. I had no idea she knew who Justin Bieber was and as he was performing on Idol she said "That's Justin Bieber!" When I looked at her she was grinning from ear to ear! So I asked her if she likes him and she buried her face in her hands. I do believe Justin Bieber is my DD's first crush!!!

DW TELLS ME JUSTIN IS FROM STRATFORD ONTARIO, 2 HOURS FROM OUR HOUSE. I ASSUME HE WILL BE A BIG PRETEEN IDOL. I GUESS BECAUSE IM OLDER I SAID EEEEEUUUUWWWWWW!!!!! I PREFER BEATLES LED ZEPLIN, RUSH(we went to school with drummer) JANIS JOPLIN ETC. YES WE WATCHED AMERICAN IDOL. WE HAVE BEEN WATCHING IT SINCE IT STARTED. THE 2 I PICKED WAY BACK ARE IN THE FINAL. WE BOTH LIKE CRYSTAL, BUT WE WOULDNT BE UPSET IF LEE WINS. THEY BOTH HAVE HEART WARMING STORIES. SOMETIMES IN THE PAST WE FELT THE WINNER WASNT THE BEST. LIKE WHEN DAULTRY FINISHED THIRD. WE ALSO COULDNT STAND TAYLOR HICKS. WE ARE HOOKED ON THAT SHOW, NURSE JACKIE, LAURA(dw) IS A NURSE. WE LIKE GLEE, I GUESS MOST OF THE HBO SHOWS. WE LIKE BIG LOVE AND LAURA LIKES HOUSE.

I had been an Idol follower for most seasons - Taylor Hicks season I stopped watching - it was painful and I didn't watch this seaon mainly due to the conflict with NCIS and LOST, plus Wed nights I work late so there was no effort on my part for this season - now last season.....I LOVE Kris Allen, Adam and Allison and one of my friends and I went to see the Idol tour!!! I think I was in denial that anyone could top those three in my mind!!!

My DDs both LOVE Carrie Underwood - which I fine by me because I love her as well and Taylor Swift. DD6s crush is (are?) the Jonas Brothers.

Debbie - It is sooo cute to watch their eyes light up!!!

I love to read but have gotten away from it - mostly because of the girls - I would like to get back into reading but I have trouble sitting still and focusing at this point in my life - my sister still laughs at how mad she would get at me when we were younger because I would sit on the couch and read a whole book cover to cover - ignoring her!!!

Terrie - we are also waiting impatiently for Toy Story 3 - this one of DH and I's favs so we hope to be hitting the theaters when it comes out - its awesome how excited the girls are too!!! Reasons why Disney is soooo AWESOME - things for families to have in common!!!!

Marsha - I am sooo excited that is was Jack - that was my thought - DH is still turned upsidedown trying to figure out Desmond's role - he thought it would be him since he is like Jacob in sideways world!!! Can't wait for Sunday - 4 1/2 hrs of LOST!!!

Nikki - I had a feeling it would be Jack too but, it seems so predictable. If Jack is the new Jacob then who is going to be the new smoke monster? Will it be Ben? Or, when Desmond gathers everybody at the concert and they realize their true destiny was to go on the island will things be restored to before the plane crashed? There are so many questions. Sunday night I will be glued to my seat. Oh, I cannot wait!

Good Morning Everyone! We have been having computer issues at home so I haven't been able to get on for a while. Seems like there has been lots going on.

My favorite TV shows are Grey's Anatomy, Private Practice and I love Survivor! Desperate Housewives and Brothers and Sisters I watch too. I'm not into Lost but my youngest DD is.

Mickeyphile - so sorry to hear that you won't be able to join us on this cruise. But on the bright side you are going on a Halloween cruise! You know, at this point, just being on a cruise is a good thing.

Marsha - Last night I went back and read your TRs and thoroughly enjoyed them. When I was reading your Feb '09 TR I realized that you got into DVC after hearing the Steve Harvey Show in Jan '08. The interesting thing was that we were at the AKL when he was broadcasting from there and were in the lobby watching his broadcast. I just thought it was interesting how these weird events seem to connect us -- it is truly a small world !!!

For those who are into Brothers and Sisters, what an amazing season finale. They certainly have me hooked.

That is a neat coincidence. Hopefully, one day we will meet.
I watch Brothers & Sisters too but have not watched the season finale. There are usually a few shows that I keep on my DVR to watch during the summer reruns.

Didn't want to seem like a TV junkie but we love Two and 1/2 men and Big Bang Theory. Plus Rules of Engagement is totally hillarious.

Grey's tonight was almost too much for me to handle. OMG. I am totally stressed out now. Big piece of cake and wine is my handlement (if that is a word) .

Ian - loved the photos! I wannabe there now, especially after watching Grey's!

Ok just finished watching Greys and wow on the edge of my seat the entire time. Did ya notice that all the docs that died were from the other hospital that combined with Seattle grace. I am betting Dr. Weaver will be chief of staff again.

Ok time for bed but Grey's was was great this evening.

last night i dreamed we went on the cruise and because of bad weather we could not leave the cabins.

That's not a dream....that's a nightmare! I had a dream/nightmare once that my daughter jumped off the ship. I think that was the second most horrifying nightmare I've ever had. The first one was that someone broke into our house and was after my kids. I actually woke up hyperventillating (sp?) from that one.

I agree...TGIF!!! Grey's Anatomy WAS really good in a weird way. It was so intense that I'm still a little shaken up by it! It made me have a nightmare that my DBIL died and my DSIL had a miscarriage...she's due in two months.

This weekend? Tomorrow I have my DD's tutoring at 10:00, my DS's game at 12:00, an open house (during my DS's game) and DS's friend's b-day party from 4-6. I don't know how we're going to fit everything in, but we'll try! I wanted to go to the drive-in but it's such a busy day I don't know that we'll make it! And of course, there's nothing going on Sunday!

Grey's was scary indeed. My DW works in hospital in baltimore. What is scary is that this is something that could happen. My older DS 13 was still up at the start of the show and as soon as the first doc was shot I was quick to say ok goodnight! I was shocked at the violence but I see why they made the disclaimer of parental guidance suggested.
