We went window shopping. I found my next Dooney and Burke Disney purse! Between the one in WDW that I want and the new cruise line one, I have lots of saving to do.

I do feel lucky to get a Disney fix in. I had to come up to Tampa for a work related seminar tomorrow. I figured if I had to drive up this way and the company is paying for the hotel then I'd blow off work today and come hang out in DTD. We took a walk around the Boardwalk too. It was a good day. Best of all DH and my BFF are here with me!

NOT THAT THIS IS EARTH SHATTERINGFOR THOSE IN HERE WHO HAVE NOT DONE MEMBER CRUISE BEFORE, MERCAHANDISE GOES FASTWHEN THE SHOPS OPEN AT 6pm ON THE FIRST NIGHT THERE IS A CROWD IN THE 2 STORES. I GO FOR THE DVC MEMBER CRUISE PINS. IM A CRAzY ADDICTED PIN COLLECTER. IM HOPING THIS YEAR THEY HAVE BETTER DVC GOLF SHIRTS. THE LAST 2 YEARS WERENT AS GOOD DVC MEMBER GOLF SHIRTS. THEY USUALLY HAVE SOMETHING WITH NAME OF CRUISE AND YEAR.

HERES A FUNNY STORY I MUST TELL, MAYBE ONE OF YOU WERE IN THE THEATRE DURING DVC PRESENTATION WHEN THIS HAPPENED.
BEFORE PRESENTATION DVC ASKS QUESTIONS ABOUT DVC RESORTS, MEMBERS OF THE AUDIENCE HAVE TO JUMP UP AND DOWN OR PUT THEIR HAND UP TO BE PICKED. IF YOU ANSWER RIGHT YOU WIN A DVC MEMBER PINVALUED AT ABOUT A $1(which they give away on other parts of cruise). ANYWAYS ONE LADY 2 YEARS AGO SITTING INFRONT OF US, A BLONDE LADY IN BLACK STRETCHY SLACKS JUMPED UP SO FAST TO ANSWER, THAT HER PANTS FELL DOWN,. SHE CONTINUED TO JUMP UP AND DOWN GRABBING HER PANTS. ALL FOR THAT $1 DVC PIN. I GUESS WHAT IM TRYING TO SAY IS THAT THE WHOLE SHIP IS FILLED WITH DVC CRAZIES!!!!

Ginny, I know keeping up with posts can be challenging, especially, since you are doing three cruises in September and probably are reading three cruise meet threads. But, we would love to get to know you too. We are not too crazy. Just Disney fanatics with some hockey fanatics in the mix (hi Ian! ).

Keeping up with three different threads is a bit more challenging....but the other two combined don't equal a DVC thread!!

I like hockey, but just a fan....not a fanatic. Love NASCAR -- something about those really fast cars.

I'm glad you'll be on the ship for a week prior to the DVC cruise...that way you can make sure the ship is all ready for us DVCers!

I HATE the crowded stores on the ship! Hopefully the Dream will have bigger stores to accommodate all the big spenders!!

Well....off to do some housecleaning while the family is at the grocery store!!! I don't get quiet time very often and I choose to clean house when I do! What's wrong with me!?

Hi Ginny and welcome to the thread. I'm not much a of a sports fan. DH took me to a hockey game and I alternated between reading a book and watching the game, which I did find somewhat interesting, just not more than the book Nascar, I don't get DH likes sports except for the dog shows I compete in, he finds them boring and I tell him that's exactly how I feel about football

Yes, the atmosphere is wonderful! I know I want the brown one and the cruise line one, so I really gotta save. I think I will take on a few extra client dogs to groom on the side between now and then and that oughta do it Oh I love my quiet time...for reading and pretending there is no dog hair on the floor that needs to be swiffered up for the umpteenth time

Ok. I am trying to read the posts and watch Lost at the same time. I am not doing both well. I am glad I have lost on my DVR. You have been a chatty bunch today.

Does anyone watch Lost? I am so sad that this is the final season. But, I am also happy because I hope that I will get some answers to all of my questions.

That reminds me. When we were in Barbados this past April I could notbelieve that DH's rum pnch was less expensive than my fruit punch. His rum punch was $4 and mine was $7. I could not believe it.
