I hope your DD feels better. I am sure the fall shook her up.

The temps here are supposed to drop too. Of course, it is when I would be able to spend some time outdoors.

Thank you! :goodvibes I'm sure she'll be fine. Funny thing is...my DS fell off the monkey bars at the same playground when he was about the same age. I had to leave work early to get him because it knocked the wind out of him and he was freaked out. I guess he landed flat on his back!

About the weather...I'm kind of bummed about the cold air coming in this weekend - our local drive in theater opens tomorrow night and it will be too cold to go if temps get as low as they say.

Does anyone else have a drive in theater near you that you like to go to?

Hey! I just noticed my slider is is right smack dab in the middle of my countdown banner!! The wait is halfway over!!!!!!

:yay:

Debbie - I hope your DDis feeling better - I had to chuckle at the dramatic thing - my DD5 (will be 6 April 25) is the same you never know how badly she's hurt until the show is over!:lmao:

Terrie and Marsha - thanks for reading along - I am having fun writing- I think its therapeutic for me to get it all out!!!:rotfl:

It has been a beautiful week here - sunny high 70s, a little windy but lovely!!!

Morning Everyone! :goodvibes

It is finally Friday! :yay: It sure has seemed like a long week here. I guess I'm just tired and want to be home and not at work. Well, that is what tomorrow is for.

No big plans here for the weekend. We too are supposed to be cooler with highs in the 60's. But it is supposed to be sunny so that will help. As long as the weather people are even remotely close with their predictions. Seems like they have been missing the mark here lately. :rolleyes1

Luckymomoftwo - hope your DD is doing better after her fall. What a bummer.

Have a great day! :flower3:

Went to work today. Came home and celebrated DS's birthday. He turned 3 today. Just finished putting him to bed. We let him stay up a little late for his birthday. He told me he wasn't sleepy but as soon as his head hit the pillow he fell asleep. Now, I am about to go to bed. I am tired. I hope all of you had a good day.

HI MARSHA THESE PHOTOS ARE OF BARBADOS. A FEW SHOTS OF MANY I TOOK.

THE SIGN WAS FUNNY. I ENJOYED WALKING THRU THE BACK STREETS OF DOWNTOWN BRIDGETOWN EVEN WENT IN THE DIS AND DAT STORE. MAYBE YOU MIGHT RECOGNIZE THESE PLACES.

Then I had to leave 10 minutes early because DD-6 fell off the monkey bars on the playground and hurt her back and wouldn't stop crying.

I hope your DD is feeling better

Happy Birthday Charles!!!!

Hi all - it is our last day:sad1:I want to live here!!!!

I will finish the TR and catch up when I get home - our flight out isnt until 8:45pm so I think tomorrow will be a lazy day as well!!!

Have a great weekend!!!

Good Morning! On behalf of Charles, thank you for the birthday wishes. He had a great day. We will continue his b-day celebration next week when we go see Thomas the Train. DS is a big Thomas the Train fan. The B & O Railraod Museum is hosting a Thomas Day Out Event next Saturday. I am sure DS will enjoy that.

This weekend we really do not have any plans except for taking DS to Cici's for some pizza. Of course, I have to do :laundy: and some cleaning. My work is never done.

Hi Ian! I did see the ice cream truck and the jewelry store but, the other pictures I do not recognize.

I was just looking at the roster on the member website and I think we missed Erik's birthday (CP_Princess's DH). It was on April 4th (Easter). I looked back on the thread for that day and I didn't see any Happy B-day wishes to Erik. So, HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY, Erik!!!!

Also, DD is doing just fine...hasn't mentioned a back ache since yesterday morning.

While we were on the 2009 member cruise, we purchased additional points. Our purchase qualified us to receive limited edition artwork entitled "The Lost Soup-Eating Sequence". The artist, Don "Ducky" Williams was one of the presenters on the cruise.

From the back of the artwork:
"The "lost" image comes from a deleted sequence highlighting the dwarfs' individual personalities through a song titled "The Music in Your Soup." Walt Disney made the dfficult decision to eliminate the sequence from the finished film, believing it impeded the flow of the story."

This was delivered the end of March.

Ian,

I know you asked about what the buttons that were given out by Mark & Mary from last year's cruise looked like. Here is my button. I thought it was a great way to identify who was a DISer.

Thanks for the b-day wish. On the Sprout channel, the show old Thomas the Train episodes. The narrators have been George Carlin, Ringo Starr, and one of the Baldwin brother, I believe Alec. On the DVD we just purchased, Pierce Brosnan is the narrator.

The buttons were a nice touch. If I knew how to make them and had a button making machine like Mark and Mary had I would make them.

Marsha - happy belated birthday to Charles! Sorry to have missed it. Sounds like he had an enjoyable day.

Well, we are another week closer to the cruise. We are so excited. I just love to cruise and am so ready to go on one again.
