Behind the castle we have Anastasia, me, Lady Tremaine and Drizella. Drizella was ABSOLUTELY HILARIOUS with her antics and totally in character. So was Anastasia and Lady Tremaine but Drizella was really over the top

GREAT SHOTS TERRIE, WISH WE HAD JOINED D23, WHAT DID THEY TELL YOU ABOUT FANTASYLAND I WOULD OF THOUGHT THEY WOULD BE WELL INTO STARTING IT, I JUST NOTICED A FEW AREAS BEING REVAMPED NOTHING BIG. WELL WAVE IF YOU PASS BY ME AT ONE OF THE PARKS I,LL BE WEARING MY RED DVC HAT JUST HEADING OUT THE DOOR WHEN THE OTHER SLOOOOOOOOOOOOOW POKES GET MOVING.

Terrie - you got some GREAT pictures!!! I'm sorry your DH got sick while you were there and that you got sick when you got home. My DH has gotten sick on the last two DCL trips we've done.

Nikki - I hope the damp basement doesn't turn into a flooded basement! Hopefully it will stop raining and spare your area from flooding! I'm crossing my fingers for you!

we went to disney world last year and she hated it.she does not like big crowds .and we had her 2 grand kids age 5 and 2 .lets just say it was a bad time for all.so im taking her back in 3 weeks and we are taking a 18 year old and 17 year old and staying at ssr. she has never seen any of the dvc resorts . i told her it will be more fun without small kids.

That should be better with bigger kids...dealing with small kids at WDW can be extremely frustrating AND exhausting. I sure hope you guys enjoy the upcoming trip better. And if you are taking the time to go see all of the DVC resorts, she will enjoy that because they are beautiful resorts and much less crowded than the parks!

Marsha - glad to hear your DS is feeling a little better. Sick kids are terrible - as rotten as they can be it reminds you just how vulnerable they are .

Thank you. I am glad he is doing better too. He sounded so pitiful when he called out for me and looked even worse when I saw him.

Chris glad you didn't get chosen!!!

I have always wanted to be on a jury also!! But as a social worker who works with victims - they just won't take me. I would LOVE to have the oppurturnity to help see aome justice served, I know I can't in my cases but maybe some others....

OK, more pleasant thoughts - DH took me to see Grease last night (Broadway Across America) it was my Valentine's Day present - he really doesn't care for Grease but it was awesome!! Only problem was we didn't get home until midnight and I go to bed no later than 10pm - the girls were up at 6am and is the only thing helping my eyes stay open!!!

It is raining tons here and we finally are free of most of the snow - but the rivers are raging and flooding is guarrenteed. We are up high enough but our basement is already a little damp...

good morning all. i hope everyone has a great day. if any wants to see it the travel ch on tv is showing all the disney resorts today at 12 the the disney cruiseline then disney on a dime. i love to watch it. it puts me in the mood to go back and it shows me what i am missing

I wish I would have seen this post earlier. I would have loved to watch the shows.

Good Morning everybody! I hope everyone has had a nice week so far. We got back from WDW on Monday. It was a nice trip except for the fact that DH got sick while we were there and missed out on doing the Ft. Wilderness Segway tour and DHS on Saturday. Then I caught whatever nasty bugs he had and got sick when we got back and have been under the weather all week but still had to go to work.

We got there on Friday and had lunch at Sanaa and even snagged a window seat. DM and DF really enjoyed seeing the animals while having lunch The room was ready upon check in which was a bonus We were in Jambo and on Sunset Savanna. Friday night DH and I went to the D23 Anniversary event. There was a wonderful buffet style dinner at the Diamond Horseshoe saloon. Steven Clark, head of D23 gave a nice presentation and saluted all of the fans in a champagne toast. After dinner we all went off to enjoy the park with directions to meet up again after Wishes which is when the park was closing. We were then escorted to Mickey's Philharmagic and another presentation was given by Imagineer Mark Cole regarding the expansion of Fantasyland and questions were invited from the audience. Afterwards, we had a dessert party in Fantasyland which remained open to the D23 members. There were characters about that are not often seen in the park or seen together as a special treat for the members. We took pictures which I will share. I thought the coolest thing of all was when we were leaving the Magic Kingdom and seeing Mainstreet completely empty!

GOOD MORNING EVERYONE, THE SUN IS OUT NOT A CLOUD IN THE SKY. SUPPOSED TO BE LIKE THIS FOR THE NEXT COUPLE DAYS THEN RAIN AGAIN BY TUES. IT GOING UP INTO THE 70s TODAY AND WE ARE HEADING TO ANIMAL KINGDOM THEN BOMA AT 630. TOMORROW MK IS OPEN UNTIL 1am, I WILL HAVE TO KEEP EVERYONE MOVING IN OUR GROUP OTHERWISE THEY WONT SEE THE SPECTROMAGIC AND FIREWORKS. WELL TIME TO GO IM DRESSED THEY ARENT NOW THAT ITS SUNNY MUST GET OVER TO TAKE MORE SHOTS OF TOPIARIES.

I am glad the sun is shining today. Can't wait to see pictures.

[Well, as Terrie said, we only have two more sleeps before we leave! And I just haven't been sleeping well. Waking up way to early. Just excited I guess.

Then, get this, I was called to Jury Duty in my county starting in January and going through March.

Ok, here is my Fish Extender! This is the very first one I have ever made. I used a sew-free pattern because I don't own a sewing machine. It's got some flaws, but for a first try I think it turned out ok.

Thanks Ian! Lots of cool things on the way. Interaction between the princesses and guests will be more in depth. Guests will be led to visit Cinderella in groups of 30 - 40 and when they see her she will be dressed in rags, then as the Fairy Godmother leads everyone in a round of Bibbidi Bobbidy Boo Cinderella will transform before everyone's eyes into her ball gown. She will then dance with the guests and guests can train to be her "knights". There will be a Beast's castle and interaction with Belle which involves role playing and storytelling. They are adding a restaurant themed after Beauty and The Beast there as well. Then there will be an interaction area for Aurora where guests will engage in throwing her a surprise 16th Birthday party that she never had. There will also be an area to interact with Eric and Ariel which leads to a new "E" ticket ride.
