Ah Shucks Ya'll are complaining about all that SNOW, I wish we could get some, I am probably one of a few that wishes it would get colder here in Southern California, I sometimes get sooooo tired of 80 degree weather in February!!!
How about next year we change places? Tomorrow's high is to be around 15 degrees. Nice and refreshing . . . . . . . . . . NOT!

We went on the first member cruise in 2003 and we had both of our kids with us. Well...one and a half kids...DD was with us but traveled in a boat of her own....otherwise knows as mommy's tummyI was 1 week shy of the cut-off for pregnant women. This will be our second member cruise and we will not have the kids with us. They both get upset with us if we pull them out of school for vacation. So, it's just DH and me this time! I'm glad you will get to take your girls with you this time. Some of my favorite times on the ship are spending time in the pool with my kids, so I'll really miss that, but I'm sure DH and I will still have fun, and we'll get to use the adult only areas for a change!
Last year they were upset with us because we told them they needed to stay home because they are so active in school and one of them had a musical to practice for and the other had volleyball. But they asked to not be left behind this time. And since our oldest is going to be a Senior next school year, we feel our family vacation time is going to be harder to get, so we said that we would take them with. Plus, even though we enjoyed our time alone on last year's cruise, we did actually miss them not being with us.

I had never participated in the FE exchange until last year. I did not know about it when we first cruised on DCL which was in 2002. Anyway, the FE exchange was so much fun. Every time we came back to the room we had something in our FE. It was exciting! Sometimes we would hear people outside our door putting things in it. Most people try to do it in secret I think. I was delivering gifts around midnight and was only "caught" once. We had about 30 people particpate in it last year. It is nice to walk the ship and see the different decorations on the door. Also, it is a good way to walk off dinner.
My dw usually runs to serenity bay last year i hung around for dvc group shot so we improvised in my wifes spot by holding a hat up in her place. If you check you dvc member shot on island 2009 you will find me and a hat hahahaha!!!!!!. Then i run to tram and meet my wife at serenity bay. The middle photo is where we usually end up. And if you look way out you see that white marker. If you want to see fish swimming around you go out near there. There is a sunken boat motor part and ladder. The fish have made it a home. We stand there for about 3 hours sometimes until water gets to deep. The fish follow you go between your legs some nip hahaha, but they are small but you do see ones that are about 1 foot long. Last sept we saw a lobster under there. There are large star fish out there a bit over from that spot.
Occassionaly a baracuda swims thru that beach area or a large manta ray. Last time we were there i saw this long skinny dark shadow swim by i managed to to watch it swim between people who didnt know it was there. It was a barracuda. I"ll have to put the photo of the large manta ray my wife and i followed close to shore. It was about 1 foot infront of us.
Thank you marsha for showing my wife and i the fish extender gifts it helps us think about signing up and what to do since we have never done it before. A great way to add fun to cruise.

HIIIIIIIIIIIII, I THOUGHT THOSE LEGEND GOLF SHIRTS WERE GREAT I BOUGHT 2 NOW THEY ARE GETTING RATHER TIGHT HAHAHA, FIRST INSPIRATIONS CRUISE THE SHIRT WAS A LIGHT BLUE SHIRT SLEEVE SUMMER LIKE SHIRT WITH A LIGHT IMAGE ON THE BOTTOM AND LAST YEAR ALL I COULD FIND WAS A T SHIRT WITH THE LARGE LOGO ON FRONT. I PREFER THE NICE GOLF SHIRT WITH THE LETTERS EMBROIDERED ON THE POCKET LIKE THE LEGENDS CRUISE. CAN WE CALL DVC AND MENTION OUR PREFERENCES OR SHOULD I PULL OFF A GOLF SHIRT FROM ONE OF THE DVC STAFFERS ONBOARD
