09/08/07 Early Check in September 8, 2007 Western

Wow...y'all look as crazy as the Self Party Posse I cruised with in 2005! I am ready to go to Signals to get a Yeoman's Special....how long do we have to wait?

Glad to see that this cruise is gonna be dominated by Southerners...I'm stuck in enemy territory most of the year! :rotfl:

My dh says : Bring on the BBC'S!
He's a burly truck driver and he is not afraid to admit he drinks fru-fru girly drinks.

Kevin says REAL men aren't afraid to tap into their feminine side, Girly Man drinks and all. Speaking of, what can we mix in Hot Chocolate for his birthday? I'm thinking buttered rum or chocolate liquor. We have to stay warm around the fire somehow. :dance3:

You want to add "Peppermint Schnapps", Rumple Minze of course! It will give it the taste of a York Peppermint Patty. :thumbsup2 Plus at 100 proof, it does not take many to give you that all over warm feeling :lmao: :lmao:

Hot Buttered rum is good as well, plus Baily's or Kahlua in coffee always works well.

Let's us know if we need to bring anything...I know a guy that has a hook up

Just got confirmation that two of our friends will be joining us on the cruise. I am going to try to get them to post. I am so excited I can hardly wait. Lois

I think that I will have to try everyone of those drinks mentioned (at least several times) in order to determine if they are girly drinks or manly man drinks. Of course after having a goodly number of samples (for scientific purposes only) I won't really care.

I guess we can call you "Bill Nye the Science Guy" from here on out... :stir: :stir: :p Just remember, (best singing voice) THE BEST PART OF WAKING UP IS KAHLUA IN YOUR CUP. :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Keith check your PM's I sent ya one :thumbsup2

Hi all! I hope the hectic holiday season is finding everyone well. We only have a few weeks and we wil be back at home until after the first of the year! I can't hardly wait. I have a million things to do when I get home to prepare, but sitting in front of my fireplace with my dh and the kiddo's makes it all worth it. I am having cruise withdrawals though. I can't wait for to go on this one! :Pinkbounc

I have a bit of bad new, MIL might not be able to join us. She had knee surgery last year that was not successful and they may have to go back in. Her job is being difficult with time off. Legally, they cannot complain aout the surgery time off, but they are pitching a fit about that and the vacation time off. Jerks. Kevin just wants her to retire already and move to Alabama and live in our house while we are gone and relax. So keep her in your thoughts and prayers, we may not know anything until after the first of the year.

Off to enjoy my day off in sunny (but a chilly 55 degrees) California!

Hey PIT, our request was sent to DCL on Tues.... :cheer2: :cheer2: Now all we need is pixie dust! :wizard: :wizard:

How is everyone doing? Things are hectic in Alabama, we are have 2 Christmas parties and 1 Polar Express party at our house in the next 2 1/2 Weeks, so my wife has a long HONEY DO list I've been working on. :guilty: Oh, did I mention my wife is an Interior Decorator? Which mean everthing has to be just SO SO or it is redone to her specs...I will admit, when she gets thru decorating, our house could be on the cover of SOUTHERN LIVING! We have a 14 Ft. Tree that is covered in Mickey Mouse ornaments, plus she put 20 "HIDDEN MICKEYS" through out the tree for our 6 year old to find. He looks for them every night. It's fun to watch him count. Plus, we are going to WDW on the 17th - 20th  :cheer2:  :cheer2: We have never been during the Christmas Season, everyone says it's incredible.

Hey, I'm a joiner, but can someone please explain what I need to do to "cheer" on the Extreme WPASADI "Cruise Team" thread? I ask because I went to the thread but still have no clue what is going on there! Something about looking for talents??? Can someone who knows what's up give me a synopsis so I can catch up?

Many thanks!

stina :wave2:

Afternoon everyone...it's been slow on this board. I got all my "Honey Do's" done and the party was great.

I hope every has a safe week....

Thanks for bumping us up Kborn. Figured I'd do the same, get us on the map again. I had a cruise dream last night!!! Those are the worst because you wake up and realize you're not actually on the Magic! Although it was kinda stressful, in my dream I had forgotten to pack a bunch of stuff.

So what's everybody looking forward to the MOST on the cruise?
I'm gonna have to go with Sail Away Party. No... Palo brunch... No Sail Away Party... too hard to choose!

stina :wave2:

Creme Brulee is what I ALWAYS look forward to the most! Great idea to generate some posts! My dh looks forward to the Rasul again ;) ;)

Keith, hope the Christmas party went well, sorry we couldn't make it. We were there in spirit though!

Creme brulee and drink of the day.... let's sail away!

:rolleyes1

Wish I had drink of the day at home. ;) The best part is near the end of the cruise (only good thing about the END of a cruise) when they are trying to get rid of a bunch of liquor and start doing 2-for-1 cocktails, yeehaw!

I know this may be sacrilege to say but I wasn't blown away by most of the food I ate on my last cruise except for Palo. Palo was a dream. Most everything else was very high quality but not mindblowing. I actually liked Parrot Cay's food the best of the 3 regular restaurants because some of it was more flavorful due to island influence. Overall I felt that the food wasn't spicy/spice-complex enough, but I think I will make sure to ask next time if they can spice up some of my dishes.

How many days till cruising?

stina :wave2:

ps-Pretty In Tink...did you get that NYC article I emailed you?

My favorite has to be the "COUPLES MASSAGE" on Castaway Cay    Nothing like it...but this time I'll wear shoes afterwards....It was all KEVIN & CYNDI'S (PrettyinTink) fault! :rotfl2: :rotfl2:
You see, we met Kevin and Cyndi on the 11 day cruise and decided to meet them at Serenity Bay after our massage, we found them floating on their raft and swam out to join them. After about 15 min. in the water, I stepped on a SEA URCHIN which left 6 of it's barbs in my right foot. Of course Cyndi being the kind hearted person she is, had to get a PICTURE of my foot :rotfl: :confused3 :rotfl: So, I blame it all on them, just because there is a big sign warning about sea unchin's does not amount to a hill of beans in my book. :rolleyes1 :rolleyes1
