Darn, I was hoping that we could all go to Hell together!

We went there on a previous non-DCL cruise. Who knew hell would be so nice?

Key West - Actual day of our Wedding Anniversary we are going to do the Trolley Tour

Grand Caymen - We are doing the Island Tour but we are going on the late morning one. 8:15am was a little early I'll still be sippin on a Bloody Mary about then lol

Cozumel - May just stay onboard and enjoy what the ship has to offer.

Castaway - Family Beach

It is just DH is not quite the DISney fanatic that I am. He doesn't get the obsession so I do not do too many extra things. DDs dress up for pirate night; I wear black and white dinner clothing, but DH doesn't even try. I do not complain at all because I am just thankful that we get to go on the cruise and then to the parks. He doesn't have to be obsessed like me as long as we get to take our Disney vaca up![/QUOTE]



My DH doesn't get too excited about Disney either. Everything we do is because I plan it and then tell him, but if yours likes to talk about fishing they would get along perfectly.

Well I have been slowly brainwashing my DH to bring him into the light of the wonderful world of disney, and think I have succeeded and may have even created a bigger fan than I could have imagined. He does contribute to by disney habit and even found DIS.

Oh my goodness, I can't quite believe it!!!! I am so looking forward to meeting everyone. I am a little concerned about remembering everyone's name seeing that our group has grown quite considerably. Can't wait to see you all very soon

If for some reason I don't get to say g'day when we meet up at the Promenade Lounge we will be in cabin 6562

We'll all be in the "same boat" (pun intended) when it comes to remembering names. We'll just have to look for the bright green bracelets and go up and introduce ourselves (again & again).

I agree with you totally about our having a better cruise if the kids are happy. Knowing someone else in the club ahead of time will make this a much better experience for them.

Thanks so much Marlene, my head is spinning to think it will only be 16 days until we all meet and set sail Thanks for the reassurance about remembering names, I think wearing name tags with our Disboard member name might be going a bit too far I will do my best

No need to thank me for the thread, I am just sorry that I haven't been on the ball as much as I would have liked with it. When I look at the date the thread was started and how many members we have gained in that time it's pretty amazing.

I'm sure we will have the time of our lives at Disneyworld, and pretty much ready to collapse by the time we board the cruise
Anyone been looking at the bounceback offers they have been talking about?

We have noted her birthday (September 8) on our reservation so she will be getting the cake and singing in the dining room. We plan to buy her a tiara to wear to dinner that evening too. Also, she is swimming with the dolphins on her birthday so she is very excited about that.

Sabrina swam with the dolphins in Cozumel on her 5th bday. While we were waiting to go, she told the Disney excursion person it was her birthday about a dozen times and soon she got to hold the sign and lead the excursion off the boat. Very fun!

Our little band of 8-9-10 year olds has a name.......9-9-09ers!

Do we have one designated person who is going to call in a few days to get the offical listing of movies to be shown on our cruise?

I know we can call at 2 weeks out to get the list but want to save DCL from getting sooo many calls about the same thing over and over.

Someone just posted about movies the week before, it'll probably be the same? I just remembered - I HAVEN'T STARTED PACKING YET AND I DIDN'T EVEN MAKE A LIST OF WHAT TO BRING!

And to think, I only had about 18 months to do this!

Speaking of far ahead planning - did you guys see that they will start taking reservations in October for the first new ship? My boss already told me she's not approving any vacation time yet for next year (let alone 2011).

I am using a bounceback offer to stay the Wilderness Lodge before the cruise. I hope I can book a bounceback offer for our January vacaton when we get there.
