It is just DH is not quite the DISney fanatic that I am. He doesn't get the obsession so I do not do too many extra things. DDs dress up for pirate night; I wear black and white dinner clothing, but DH doesn't even try. I do not complain at all because I am just thankful that we get to go on the cruise and then to the parks. He doesn't have to be obsessed like me as long as we get to take our Disney vaca up!

I always say about my DH that he does not believe in the magic and he says that I worship at the alter of Mickey. I'm in the same boat (no pun intended).

I never realized how good my DW has it. I am into the Disney way of life she is. Shoot the day we get off the boat I get to go to Hollywood studios and buy my next hand painted cell.

But to each their own. We dress up for all the parties (MNSSHP, MVMCP, Pirate and princess party, and even Osborne Family lights) and it makes it so much more fun for us. We go to WDW to just escape normal hectic life.

My DH is a closet disney nut. He said after our last trip that it would be a while before he would go back, but he has already talked about going for Christmas, lol...He pushed me to start planning vacations and it has been excited helping others plan their trips! I thoroughly enjoy it... I had a friend's DH call today (called his wife first and got my number) and say that his business trip ended early and he was headed to WDW for the afternoon and evening and what should he do? I totally dropped everything and got so excited to help him! He is having a ball right now! ANyway, don't know who in their right mind would quit their job on the day that their spouse is being voted to be terminated, but I did!!!!! I love my boss, but his workload has slowed too much to support my family (and our habits, lol!) I have been fortunate enough to find my way (God gets the crediit) to a better paying gig...cross fingers for me... Imagine a job interview where you have to explain that you need to be off in 2 weeks for 10 days because you are galavanting around WDW and the Caribbean! ANyway, if that's not enough.....drumroll..........................doin the doc dance

These came today and I totally freaked out. THey are kelly green and do not glow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I immediately called, freakin out, what am i goin to tell my fellow disers? how did i screw this up???
They have to be charged in the sunlight and they last for hours, .lol...



To fill the lettering in, they were more than I could spend, as is they were over $100...so I am selling these as-is (no color fill) for $1.50. If you would like them fabulously filled in with sharpie, add $.50 and I will do them for you. Or, I will bring my sharpies to port, and you can stretch and do them yourself. So $1.50 plain, $2.00 for color fill...PM me if you want me to 'color' them for you, or I will share my pens with you at port. They are adorable either way. 1 DD likes them as is, the other likes them filled in..It takes a few minutes, but when they glow, the sharpie writing shows up

I totally agree about Disney taking you away from reality, that is my favorite, fantasyland...

Hello there neighbour, we are next door I just wanted to say you have done a wonderful job with the bracelets, collecting all the orders, the design and the delivery on the day. Mary & Jeff are getting married onboard Thursday 9-10-09 (day at sea).

They haven't heard yet what time the wedding is, but I know they plan to attend the Captain's Gala Dinner (second seating). The girls are having a sleepover in our cabin so they can have the night to themselves. Should we knock every hour

I'm planning to add some wedding decor to their doorway that evening. If anyone wants to add a wedding magnet or tuck something silly into their FE that would be great. With the wedding and being DVC they're hoping for a little pixie dust to give them a cabin upgrade. If they get it, we'll update the FE list and try to spread the word.

had fun last night playing with the 100 glow in the dark bracelets I am SUCH a kid....

Well, I just noticed my docs have us at early seating, I had requested late after I found out Shawna wanted late...well, if we can get ours linked, I may have a spot to share (family of 4), if you are interested in trying to get our coveted spot..please pm me. They should be able to transfer the table to you, I would think...

Tip of the day....

DD11 was allowed to check out of club and go to the room (she paged us first) if she got tired, bored, or hungry. We came back 2X to get her and she was enjoying room service! Room service is free, but you tip depending on how much they bring you. (ususally 2-4) Be careful tho, some of it has a charge..she knowingly ordered cashews ($5) and thought it was no big deal (until it was deducted from her spending money, lol) There is plenty of 'free' food to choose from This child knows her mother's frugality all too well. (money must be saved for WDW and DCL) I am creating 2 sweet monsters, lol...

I am adding a special prayer for everyone's healthiness. DH called to check on some coach buddies from the school he just left and 1 of them was missing their first game last night. He called him to check on him and he started on Saturday not feeling well, took Nyquil and went to school Monday (shouldn't have), he didn't make it through the day, went to the doc and tested + for flu, got a call later that night informing him he was quarantined for 7 days with the SWINE FLU!!!!!!!!!! He said the pain was excrutiating and at one point he wanted to die..ouch...I hope everyone stays healthy and avoids this and any other major sickness that could prevent them from our long awaited fun. One of the TA's from my 7/30 Wonder said she had a client that contracted swine flu while she was at WDW the same week we were there....so please everyone remember to wash hands and stay healthy!!! I will be praying for everyone

I've already finished my FE's (have them all bagged up!!) or I would add some Purell to the gift!!

As it is, I will have to pack an extra bag for the FE gifts and magnets!! Or leave out some of my clothes!!
I am afraid that the FE's and magnets will throw my luggage over the weight limit.
I didn't realize that the magnets would be so heavy!
And the FE's (although not that heavy) would take up that much room!!
I'll just have to pay the extra $$ for the luggage at the airport - but on the bright side it will give me an extra piece of luggage to bring back some souvenirs.
