I panicked this morning when I heard on the news that there is a tropical storm out there. Has anyone heard anything about it?

If there is 1 thing that I have learned from living in FL is that there is no reason to worry about the storms until you are told to worry about them. And DCL will not "drive" us in the way of any storm. I hate to admit it, but a mystery cruise kind of excites me.

I hate to admit it too..........but.............it kind of excites me too..........like an adventure.


BTW, TA emailed me today. He said that DCL told him that our documents should arrive at his office on Monday so I will try to go pick them up Tuesday.

A)Not enough door decorations
B)Just enough door decorations
C)Way too much door decorations

p.s. I still haven't printed our "Tom's" DCL name tags, Mickey ears for our stateroom number, or finished our Home Depot Mickey heads.

Just curious what everyone thinks.

Love the door magnets - it is never enough! How do you make such clever ones? I tried to do something, but it didn't work. I am not that clever on the computer.

There is a hurricane out there, but I wouldn't worry just yet. I don't care where we go as long as we are on the Magic, I just want to be ON THE Magic!!!

I depend upon the true talents on our disboard creative DISigners.

We have alot of favorites DISigners but some we did ourselfs. And the Mickey head paint chips from Home Depot are so cute. Remeber Lime green is the unoffical color of the DIS.

OK our full front door is now covered in magnets... And we keep thinking of new magnets that we want... I guess we will have to rotate magnets throughout the week.

Only 2 weeks 6 days and a wake up to get done.


OH wait I need to do the ears for our room number.

We are first timers too! First DCL and first cruise ever.... kids first trip to DW too.. I have packed pretty much everything now as it's cold here and have been able to pack all our summer clothes, now I am twiddling my thumbs not knowing what to do with myself. How can I amuse myself for the next week and 2 days??? Any ideas

I've photocopied the documents, I've given out emergency contact numbers to relatives.... I just can't think of what else to do. Maybe I should do some work

LiseG, thanks for the list of 8,9,10's! No worries about them getting lonely! I hope everyone of them comes to the dismeet and then opening party/session for the O. Lab...it is important for them to get there and make friends early..

DH got his termination letter yesterday, our schools are cutting to the bare bones, and he was in the first cut Good thing this trip is PAID for It will be nice to get away

My mom and dad came down for the weekend since dad won't see Payton for her bday (girls trip, remember) He took her shopping today, TGI Grandparents
Bless it, she got him in to juicy couture, a store she knew she couldn't get mom in....lol.....can't wait to get to this cruise!!!!!

we just watched 10 most extreme waterparks on travel channel, and we decided we must visit blizzard beach on our last day..i will end this vaca with a trip down summit plummit titanic was on, too. we watched until the water started rising, then turned it, I have successfully sheltered my kiddies from this one.....they almost saw it, then I said no way...where is my Pirates of Caribbean dvd....night night...

I just came across these measurements on another thread - and thought some of you might like to know the dimensions

Door measurements

The door is 28.75 x 77.75.
13.5 down from the top is a circular door marker that you ought to make allowances for...it has a 7.5 diameter.
The door assembly is 35.25 down from the top and is 9.5 tall. It extends from the edge 4.5.

Wow we wish we could start our vacation as soon as you are.

What is vegimite? just a random question after seeing what was written above your avatar.

You are such nice parents to bring your youngsters from Austraia to Fl for a great vacation.

One of the sailors I am friends with married a woman from australia. He went back to sea so she took the kids back to australia until he is done with his sea duty in 2 years (he is stationed in guam). So being around you all will give us our accent fix. Excuse us if we make bad australian jokes, Mick Dundee and Crocodille Hunter jokes were a stable at our BBQs and parties.
