My partner and I just booked our first cruise for September 5th on the Magic, so it will be a new experience for us having for the most part sailed Royal Caribbean. Looking forward to getting away and relaxing though!

The poll closes today at 3:30 or so. At that point, I will set up a new poll for the weekend that will consist of the top three. At the end of the poll whichever one is ahead- wins!

I am not creative enough to personalize FE gifts. This is our first cruise so I cannot bring myself to personalize gifts. Maybe for the second cruise, but shoot the DW waited 10 years for her first cruise so I will take her on another in 10 more years.

OK...so many of us are split, and this is not this big of a deal, lol...We need to start packing and printing our FE gifts

We are going to have a blast!!! Hoagie pie check out the info here in this thread, I posted it twice, but can't find it now, lol...about the bracelets we are ordering $1.75 each with our cruise name and date, lime green glow in the dark silicone wristbands, to identify other DISers

Also, check out info on the FE exchange, we did this for the first time on the Wonder last weekend, and it was so awesome getting gifts every time we returned to our stateroom! It was also fun sneakin around the ship giving our gifts! the kids had a lot of fun with this (yeah, I did, too) 28 days!!!

Would love to do the FE but thought I was a little late. I don't want to inconvenience anyone. Read the boards and it sounds like everyone is ready to have a fantastic time. I loved all the names and so did the family. Thanks so much for posting the nightly entertainment! Anybody know if they are showing G-Force? I am also a home school mom. I saw a few posts from people that home school and this is one of the things I love about home schooling - able to leave and travel whenever!

OK. I had put 8/7 as the FE cutoff, but I don't have a problem with you joining today since we haven't even got our cruise name down!!!lol

There are a few home school families going, that we know of, so probably a lot! We are public schooled (our school is awesome) we had 'meet the teacher' yesterday and they were fine with our vacation plans...I KNOW I am lucky...DD11 is in 6th grade and no problems yet with missing 5 days in a row I am actually shocked that so many people have problems with their schools authority on taking FAMILY vacations...they are MY kids...totally another subject, lol....
We watched Gforce last weekend on the Wonder
I also expect to see the new wizards movie on the Magic
Premears are the same on the boat as they are in the theaters, as far as I know..

Long time readers, first time posters, many time cruisers. We can't wait for the sail away whistle to blow. We'll be celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary on the 8th during the cruise. Woo Hoo!!! We'll be cruising with our son (scottly83) and his friend. Can't wait to meet cha' all. Been watching your posts, scared to reply. The count down has begun!!

Yes, we would love to join the FE! Like I said, I don't want to inconvenience anyone. Thanks for the movie updates too. If you saw it on the Wonder, most likely they will show it on the Magic. I am just trying to eliminate things to do this week. I want to start school next Monday. We are so excited about the cruise and it was totally a "had to much of life - let's do it" kind of decision. Glad to hear there are other girls around my daughter's age. She is shy until she makes friends. She was worried since school was starting that she would be "alone." What do I have to do for the FE info? We don't know our cabin number yet, we are a GTY. By the way, I also saw the Sunday night entertainment and we have not seen them before - are they comedians, magicians??? We have been to all the ports before, but not The Keys. Has anybody taken the Trolley tour around the area. I heard about the delicious key lime pie - cannot wait for that!
