Also, I do have one more question--I think the idea of getting a DIS group photo had been mentioned before, but I just wanted to check and see if that was still happening or not. I think it's a great idea, but I wasn't sure if everyone was still "onboard" with the idea. I know that everyone's schedule is probably going to be full once we're on the ship, but I think it would be a great memory if everyone could get together for a quick photo!

I am bringing my nice camera. If everyone wants I will shoot the picture (or set the camera up on the tripod ect.)

sorry, add me in for another youth bracelet lol. I told Erik about it last night and that I didn't count one for Asher since he'll only be 9 months and his response was exactly the same as mil's when I asked if she wanted one for fil: "why should he be left out?"

my total count: 4 adults, 2 youth

and that now covers everyone I'm travelling with so we should be good

I'm not certain how this works, but I am going to be on the 9/5 cruise with my DH and other family members as a celebration of our 25th wedding anniversary. This is my first DCL cruise and I have been waiting for many years to do this. (Nine times in WDW and two times in DL since 1990)Would love to join in the celebrations with everyone else. Just not too tech-savy when it comes to this type of stuff.... Any advice?

My family has only been on DIS for about a month. This is a great group of people. If you have any questions just ask, someone has the answer or knows where you can find the answer.

We (as a family) are veterans of 20+ WDW vacations and 1 DL vacation. i persoanlly (Mike) am a verteran of 40+ at WDW and 30+ at DL.

On DIS there are great people who will help you with creative DISigns for cutom shirts and magnets for your cabin doors. Not sure if you are to late to get in to the braclet order (Lime green to identify you as a DIS member).

There is also FE (Fish extenders) that are fun for families (I do not have personal exterience with this) but we are doing this as well.

Welcome Dee!!!! Well, I have been around a while (can't tell by my # of posts, because I am a 'lurker'), but this is our first 7 nt cruise. We have been on 2 3nt'ers and we decorated our door with magnets, but this is our first time for fish extenders and bracelets..I am heading up the bracelet order. I am ordering these on 8/14. I will say how about a deadline of 8/14, 8am..That gives them 3 weeks to get to me, and I will order extras just in case. Read up in the thread and follow links to FE ideas/gift ideas. This is going to be an extra 'fun' thing for the kiddies (and kids at heart) Having your door decorated is special for the whole cruise, the kids love it, and it makes remembering your room number easier!
Disney minnie..I am also ordering extra bracelets for my kids, lol...except not to replace lost ones.... DD11 has decided she should have 1 on wrist and 1 on ankle!

i apologize now if this question has already has been asked. For the fish extender gifts, do you give a gift to everyone everyday or do you have a day that you give a gift to everyone. we are just trying to decide on what to get and make sure we have enough to share.

we will probably have several 'little' goodies...so if we decide that everyone has a 'day', then we will probably have a goodie bag...have we decided this yet...anyone? I know I have just been bitten by the cruise bug, so I was out of the loop for a while, but I'm back and ready to cruise Also, do we have a 'cut off' date for FE signup? We will probably get our gifts in order 2-3 weeks before, and also order the bracelets...oh. and then there's packing...wow..only 11 weeks to go!!
