ok I have no idea if I have introduced myself or not so if I have I am sorry.

My name is Krisann and we are excited to be on this cruise - we were scheduled to be on the Sept. 1 cruise but because of my grandmother's death we had to change the dates which is wonderful to me as I have a business all about Christmas and would love to do Disney at Christmas - just never thought I would get a chance to!

We homeschool our 2 children ds - 10 and dd - 12 - I would love to find others who have kids the same ages. My kids love the kids clubs so they will be going there some which will be nice because it will give my hubby and me "alone time" to do whatever as he will just have gotten back from Iraq in November. We took our first Disney cruise in April of 2006 when he came home the first time and we did not think he would have to go back - but he did and we had such a great time reconecting the first time we decided to do it again.

In addition to this cruise we are also on the May repo cruise so if anyone with kids are going on both I would really love to hear from you and maybe we can get our kids together!

I am looking forward to meeting people here - I have been reading the posts the best I can.

Is it too late to participate in the Stockings I read about and the Palo brunch? With the Palo brunch do we make our own reservation and then we are just all there at the same time? We are doing the romance package again so I will be making reservations very soon.

More questions will come to me I am sure - thanks for any input.

Welcome Krisann! I too have a DS 10! Can't wait to meet you!:yay:

 What is everyone else looking forward to on the cruise??????????????????

Sharing the moments with the kiddos in Awe and Wonder - or should i say MAGIC!:goodvibes
And of course meeting all the others here!

I am looking forward to hearing the ship's horn again. I just love it. I feel like crying everytime I hear it.

and I love the quiet at Serenity Bay. To sit there and hear the quiet ripple of the sea. Who could ask for more?

We still haven't decided on what excursions to do. We will be on vacation from September 15-25 and no computer, so we will "take" what we can get after we return home.

so, if we each do five posts a day, how long until we hit 2000 posts? We someone who "speaks math".

122.2 days for 1 person.
61.1 days for 2 people.
30.55 days for 4 people.
15.275 days for 8 people.
7.6375 days for 16 people.

Hope that helps... or should I have put each number in a new post ;)

I'm looking forward to a nice chair on deck 4 with a cold drink in my hand and knowing that my office can't reach me for 7 days. I have no intention of telling them that I could have internet access if I wanted, and that maybe my cell phone might work. The less they know, the better!

Right now, I am in Binghamton, New York, at the Teddy Bear Artists Invitational convention, helping a friend sell several books that she's written. I'll be here until Sunday, and I'm having a wonderful time. And it makes the time pace a little more quickly until December! And I've developed a new project to work on so that will help the time pass, too. I plan on bringing a major Teddy Bear event to the city next spring. Of course, I know very little about the "Teddy Bear world", but I'm learning really fast!

OK, I'm off to set up a display of koalas and teddies and their related books and merchandise. Tonight's a formal dinner, where I'll try out my dress which I plan to wear for formal night.

Enjoy your day!

Beth

Did I tell you that DrHug bought a horn for our RV that you can record on and put the ship's horn on it? Too fun!!

Yes, I remember that and I think it is great. Doesn't it just give you the happies everytime you hear it?
I love when we are in port and neighboring ship pasengers get excited too.

The kids are sooooooooooo excited for :cheer2: High School Musical 2 :happytv: tonight. The Disney Channel has a countdown on the screen. DD4 (Emily) loves to sing and dance. She is NOT shy!

:sad1: My "baby" is growing up! He turns 2 next week. party: We are celebrating Cole's birthday this Sunday at Chuck E. Cheese's. Break out the Tylenol now! That place is so loud and chaotic, but the kids love it. :cool1:

I love Chuck E Cheese. My "baby" and I would go there for birthdays (he's now 34yo :lmao:)

Have fun!
