Welcome! Many of us are adults cruising with no kids. :cool1: We will have a teenager and 2 one year olds in our group, just not with DrHug and I. Best of both worlds, kids when we want them, back to mom and dad when we don't!:thumbsup2

We love to cruise (2-3) per year and we love disney! We thought that since we really like to do both that a disney cruise would be perfect for us. It took us a while to decide since we will not be traveling with kids. We have heard that disney cruises are fun even for adults. We hope so!

If you love cruising and Disney then you've found the right group! Please take a look at the link at the bottom of my signature to get caught up on all the DIS happenings aboard. I may still be able to add you to our Palo brunch request also. We have 15 on the list now, and I THINK I can go up to 20. Also, if you want to participate in the gift exchange, then let me know so I can add your name and cabin number to the list.

You'll need post some more messages before you can PM (I think it's 10). I did this by trolling the boards, and making comments here and there. In the meantime if you have any questions, just post them here (that'll help to get your count up) and we'll help you out.

Wendy

:welcome:

Hi All!

We are so excited for this cruise. Each year we take a cruise for our birthday's and this is the one we have chosen for 2007. Can't wait.

Welcome Aboard Matey! :thumbsup2

My wife and I have cruised only on the Disney Cruise Line. This will be our 6th cruise on the Magic and our one child is 34yo. He and his wife went with us on one of the cruises but that doesn't count as crusing with children.

Cruising with DCL is great without taking kids. There are many things to do as adults. If you like Disney things then you will love DCL.

 I have a very thoughtful and wonderful husband! For my birthday (yesterday), he made my "annual" cheesecake (birthday cake).:cake: It was YUMMY! I had a piece for breakfast too. Also, he got me the 2007 Passporter Walt Disney World Resort AND Passporter's Field Guide to the Disney Cruise Line and Its Ports of Call (Fifth Edition). So, I have been glued to the pages since receiving the books.:coffee: They are great and will be coming with me to WDW and on the cruise in December.

Cinderellyintx - I can bring the books to lunch if you want to look at them too. Bill had a hard time finding the DCL book in our area. He is very persistent and it paid off to my benefit!:cool1:

:tinker: Jennifer

This will be our 6th DCL, too. All without children! Our "children" are 37 & 27.

Wendy (JsMom2):

I meant to ask you before, after looking at your tag, are you currently living in Brussels? I lived in Belgium for four years (2 year in Brussels and 2 years in Sterrebeek). I attended/graduated from BAS (Class of '90). My Step-Dad was stationed at NATO. It was a great experience! I am still in contact with many friends from BAS, one is still living in Brussels. I miss the Frites with curry ketchup! Yum! Yum! I can't wait to meet you on the cruise! :goodvibes

We sure are! We live in Everberg (about 5 min east of Sterrebeek). I'm stationed at NATO right now and my DD just finished 3rd grade at BAS. You and Jasmine can compare notes on BAS and I'll definitely be bringing some Belgian chocolate for the Fish Extenders/Stockings. :woohoo:

This will be our seventh cruise, all on DCL, all on Wonder (up until now). On cruise #3 we cruised with children--my niece and nephew, and my granddaughter (then 3 1/2). Like many of you, our "kid" is in his 30's (32), and he's begging us not to leave him behind when we cruise!

In order to indulge him, we'll have to cruise again late next spring or early summer. We're thinking about B2B on Wonder again, since Magic won't be around.

In the meantime, we plan to keep ourselves "childless" for our cruise!

Beth (Feverishly working on the door sign while I'm on my lunch break!)

Do you all remember the WDW commercial from a few years about the adult man talking to his mother who is going to WDW? He wants to go with them and she says but wat about your family? That is my son! He will be going with us to WDW in September for our annual visit with him. We invite his wife but she chooses to work.

I do remember that commercial, Brack. It was a hoot! :lmao: Our kids also, ages 29-38. Our oldest will be joining us this cruise with her DH and will be celebrating her 39th birthday the day we get aboard. She is very excited! :yay: She has only done one 4 day with us on the Wonder. She is a DISer also, but due to full time work and college classes she does not have much time for this anymore. I have to keep her up to date. :surfweb:

Good morning (your time) Angie :yay:

I'm still in Dallas "working" :surfweb: :confused3 It is good to be able to spend some time with my DS here though.

We're beginning to plan for December a little bit but we have to get past our September trip first.

Still too early for a "run" Angie. :confused3

I was going to post a picture of some "Fluff" but I like this better .....

Our DD stopped in to see me this morning. Even though we work at the same place we seldom get to see each other. It was nice.
