My pleasure. This board has inspired me to become more computer savvy:surfweb:

I've got great news! My Brother, Sister in law, nephew, and my sister and her roomate will be joining us on the cruise. I'm still bringing them up to speed on all the goings on. But I've already decided for them that the adults will be going to Palos for brunch! We now have enough to request the private room!

I plan on faxing the request to Inventory Control (thanks for the help Angie) tomorrow, (it's 10pm here and I'm on my way to bed). I'll ask for the 2nd day at sea as our first request, and the 3rd day as a backup.:woohoo:

 :yay: :dance3: More folks to have fun with!

We still could accomodate two more adults in our brunch group. I have asked for Sunday as my first choice and Monday as the backup. Anyone wants to join our crazy group plus Brack and his lovely Annette just pm me the names.

We're in Dallas this week for a conference. I am actually in the class now "working"! :lmao:

I'm still here, too, just busy!

My friend and I decided to take a Royal Caribbean cruise next year, so I've been focused on that.:cool1:

Also, we are "remodeling" the house, with all new paint and carpet (and a new craft room :cheer2:)so that requires lots of planning, etc.

Just over 4 months till we cruise.:woohoo: Have you guys planned any excursions yet? The only thing we really want to do is snorkeling. Mom and I did that on the Western last year and fell in love! Does anyone have any suggestions for where to do that, or any 'can't miss' excursions (or shopping destinations!)?

Need to start planning our door decoration!:thumbsup2

Great news! I think we just need to book rental cars to get from WDW to the port now and then we will be all set. :woohoo:

Angie,
Check with Avis. I was able to book a 12 passenger van from Port Canaveral to MCO after the cruise for $45!! I have no idea why it was so cheap. :confused3

Going down to the port the best option I found for a 12 pax was through Budget. I think it was $135, and we'll pick it up at the Doubletree by DTD.

We have 7 folks now so we needed the 12 pax. If you can fit in a mini-van, Avis had those for $69 for the o/w rental. They don't have anything bigger at the WDW site.

I just remembered those were with a USAA discount. But I'm sure you have some corporate rental car discount coupons filed away collecting dust too. :)

I'm still here, too. It's a really busy week at work. I'm part of a small team hosting a statewide conference on Wednesday, and that's taking all of my concentration. I'll be so glad when it's over!

This weekend was the first of our two summer car show and concert events. We have major "oldies" groups (from the 60's) twice each year. Saturday night we had The Duprees, and it was a lot of fun, but also a lot of work. For that event, I head the backstage security team. Next month, it's Richard Street's Temptations (I suspect I'm showing my age here!) and that should be fun. In the meantime, I'm trying to finish up the logo while working on the various handouts for the conference on Wednesday.

Now it's back to work--this is the job that pays for my Disney fixes!

Thanks, I will look into this. There are 13 of us, so we will need to vehicles. I was thinking a mini-van to seat 7. Maybe a couple of them or 1 and an suv to accomodate luggage. I will start checking soon!

We're 8 and we've rented two Premium cars for the trip from the airport to the port, and I think it was around $50 each. We're flying in the night before, and my father and I will drop everyone off at the terminal and return the cars and then take the shuttle.

On the way back, my parents have a standard sized car, and my family is renting a minivan. We're staying a couple extra days, and my parents are flying back that day.

Those options were cheaper than a 12 passenger. We used Avis because my work has a deal with them, I'm a premium member.

We will be driving from WDW on Fri night, 2 of us returning rental cars while the others get checked in. I just need to spend a bit of time getting codes for the different companies and then looking at what will get all of us and our luggage there.

Hi!! It's been a long time since I been on the DIS board. I'm still reading page 42. I'll be cought up by tommrow though!

Hey, is anyone interested in exchanging email addresses with my 13 year old son. I know many weeks back there was some talk about this. I'll ask him tomorrow if he's interested in "chatting" with some similar aged fellow cruisers.

Let me know, we can PM info if the kids (and parents) are willing.

My son will be 13 at cruise time. I would love for him to have a friend!! Not sure how to PM?!?

Well my son just went on a week-long trip but when he gets back I'll get his email address and send it to you. He'd like to get to know some friends before getting on-board too.

If you're logged into the forum (which you must be to make posts), you can click on the user's name of the post you're reading, and then select "Send a private message." That would send a message just to that user. You can also get to your private messages from the top bar where your name is, and also from the Quick Links along the top as well. When you receive a private message, you will also have a little pop-up message that tells you, and asks if you want to go directly to it.

Hey you Spoiled girl!!! So, so good to see you posting again. :yay: Get your mama signed up too! :surfweb:

PMing is just that easy! I'm gonna send you a PM so you will see.

We haven't made our plans but it will probably be Disney transport. We are at SSR both before and after the cruise (unless we get moved to AKL)

Still in Dallas and still "working hard" in class. :surfweb: :thumbsup2 :lmao:

Hi All!

We are so excited for this cruise. Each year we take a cruise for our birthday's and this is the one we have chosen for 2007. Can't wait.

We love to cruise (2-3) per year and we love disney! We thought that since we really like to do both that a disney cruise would be perfect for us. It took us a while to decide since we will not be traveling with kids. We have heard that disney cruises are fun even for adults. We hope so!
