Very sad news to report.

My niece came home from school yesterday to discover someone had stolen the new TV and other presents she had received for her birthday a few weeks ago as well as new presents under the tree.

How scary for her considering she old enough to come home alone now. We are just sick to our core.

I'm sorry to hear about this as well. In my job I hear about this frequently, but it breaks my heart to hear about it during this time of year. I had the exact same thing come across my desk today. A little girl got home from school and discovered the door was broken in and she left and called 911. Come to find out the thieves stole some jewelry boxes and other items, along with the Christmas presents under the tree. How can some heartless ba$t@rd do that to ANYONE?? It's like the Grinch, except real life. What, are they too pathetic to go out and buy their own Christmas presents, or are they really that heartless??

I just posted a review of my experience with Lensrentals.com at resellerratings.com . For Brack, Dr Hug, Bill, and anyone else with a Canon or Nikon SLR, I recommend them if you have a special need and don't want to buy the lens. The equipment was in perfect shape, the price was extremely competitive with the other places I found, and their customer service was top notch. I received personal emails when I placed the order, when it was shipped, when I notified them that I had shipped back to them, and then again when they received the lenses.

I can't say how happy I am with them.

We are and it is a crying shame. I hate that she is a latch-key kid to begin with and this just scares me more. My dad will pick her up for awhile from school so she can go over to my parent's house.
