You should have slept in a little bit longer!!!!

But I forgive you anyway!!! Still pirate-free. Maybe I should pull a "Stacy". Swear off pirates, and then I'll finally get on. :lmao: Oh well, wench sandwich it is!! :goodvibes

Ok, DH and I think it is a blanket vajayjay!! :rotfl2:
LOL :rotfl2: I am ashamed to say that I had to look that word up but I am glad I am not the only one in the world that thought that too. I was going to reference the Everybody Loves Raymond episode where his mom makes the sculpture but I wasn't sure if it was over the top. Could this towel be the missing piece from Emi's mystery towel creation? ;)

We bought my Mother a DVD recorder thing a ma gig.. She wants to be able to tape on a DVD directly off of the TV.. Since we bought her a DVD player Last year and a TV the year before..

DH's parents and Sister & family live in Colorado.. so we didn't send them anything.. Besides, knowing DH, we are going to be paying for probably everything we do, eat, and buy while in WDW in April..

I did send a box of gifts to our Niece.. :goodvibes Stuff we bought from the cruise along with what else but Build A Bear stuff :thumbsup2

Umm.. DH says... The chocolate eyes belong on the other side and... if you took the picture from the other direction.. it would be a Horeshoe Crab :confused3

He always sucks the Fun right out of everything

There was something interesting that came up in Ducky's talk we saw on Monday. He said he was a purest and didn't believe that Mickey should be computer animated. There was a round of applause, but I have to say we disagree with him.

Walt was always evolving the look of Mickey from the Mortimer days and on. The Mickey from Steamboat Willie looked much different than the one drawn by him near the end. I happen to think that Walt would have embraced the new technology.

It is ok to be a purist but there are other ways to render Mickey.

I am totally in favor of pure animation. For me computer animation makes a good story, but it takes some of the magic out that the old Disney animation still has for me. I'm all for "purist" Disney animation!!!!!!

You forgot to mention Hooters!! :rotfl:

Like Bill mentioned, our kids point out a Hooters every time we drive by one. We took Bill there for Father's Day last year. Personally, I wanted to see what all the hoopla was about. Nothing too major and wouldn't stop him from going again. It could be worse! DS7 pointed out the Hooters on St. Thomas when we drove by. It was funny. Yes, I turned two shades of red. How could you not miss that one, it was a big Hooters. :rolleyes1

Another funny story from St. Thomas, we were leaving our tour at Coral World in one of those open-air vans. When we drove by the exit a local man blew a BIG puff of smoke at us. A woman probably in her late 60's made a comment that it sure wasn't cigarette smoke he was blowing at us. It was funny coming from her and the whole van broke out in laughter. :lmao:

I am off to Wal-Mart to get some more logs for the fireplace. It is suppose to get chilly here tonight. :cool1: Yea! We get to use the fireplace.

:goodvibes Have a great afternoon all! GO COWBOYS! :cheer2:

For those that celebrate on Tuesday, here is a friendly little reminder

This is the perfect weekend for those who are all done with shopping. Check all your presents for any that need batteries and get any last minute battery buying out of the way. Nothing worse than being at Walgreens on Christmas morning looking for a set of batteries or worse paying gas station prices.

Ok so I have been holding my tongue as not to cause any problems.. But.. I am curious....

Did anyone else notice that we pulled back to the dock at St. Thomas after getting about 15 feet away and one more couple boarded? We watched the whole thing from our starboard balcony.

We also were in our first inside cabin for this cruise due to a mixup with our travel agent. NEVER AGAIN

So which was it? :confused3

I didn't notice that post, as I'm using the Ignore function (it's quite nice:thumbsup2). But I believe they were down the hall from us in 8596

Whoops forgot what holiday is coming. Walmart was a nitemare.
I just came from our local Walmart. What a mistake! I went out to buy a computer (a family Christmas present), and started at Sam's Club, but the computer I wanted wasn't the price I wanted to pay, so I convinced my son to go with me to Walmart (next door). I found exactly the same computer for less than I expected to pay! Weird, since Sam's Club and Walmart are the same company. So once I sign off here, I'm going to start unpacking and test driving my new system!

So I wonder were everyone is?? Last minute Christmas shopping?? :confused3
Yup! See above--I'll have lots of new chances to do stuff with all those fonts and graphics!

I had the wonderful opportunity to chat with Ducky in the pool. The older gentleman who was with him (maybe his dad?) likes the ladies and was trying to strike up a conversation with all of them! It was very interesting to talk to him since I do some computer animation myself. He's such a pleasant man to talk to!

OK, now I'm going to start setting up the "family Christmas present". They all understand that it will be my primary work station (for my artwork and animation), but when I'm not using it the rest of the family will be able to use it if they want to, although now each person will have his/her own computer. I'm not going to connect it to the internet until I'm sure that it's what I want. I have no experience with Windows Vista, so I may have a pretty good learning curve here. I'll be back later!
