Yes, I noticed the weather looks good for the launch!
oooohhh just noticed my Ticker for September went down to 9 months

I need to pack
I thought I'd pick your brains a little. I do have some ideas but.... My friend, her hubby & their almost 3 year old daughter would like me to make reservations for them for Meals and things at Disney World for January. Any suggestions?
I said definately the Princess Breakfast in Epcot as a Must Do for their daughter.. For her Mommy's surprise party in October, she changed 5 times into various Princess Dresses..

She was the little mermaid with the red hair no wig needed picture I posted a little ways back
We did the princess lunch at Epcot and it was nice, our first visit with the princesses and there were lots. Food is definitely--meh. We were seated in a really boring part of the room, it wasn't til we were leaving that I saw there was a lovely high-ceiling'd "castley" part. The meal would've seemed more memorable there, but dd loved it. (So did ds, 5 at the time. The princesses still make him

We've done the castle lunch twice now, and though it's harder to get and more expensive, I liked it proportionately better. I won't bother with Norway again, but I'd do the castle again. I'm still hoping to get a cancellation for 1900 Park Faire dinner for NEXT WEEK.

Dd was almost 4 when we did BBB and she LOVED it. We just did the cheapest "coach" package, which was more than enough. When they first started doing it, some of the little girls were coming out inappropriately--tart-ish--IMO, but when they did dd I asked for a light hand, and they did a super job.

Of course dd loved Fantasyland, the carousel is a favourite for the two of us. The Pooh playground was great, and all that Mickey's/Minnie's house stuff off in--is it Toontown? Plus Goofy's Coaster--cute, but too short for the amount of time we had to wait. After that though she was willing to try Thunder Mtn, which we all liked. I was surprised by how much she DIDN'T like some of the dark rides--Buzz Lightyear was seriously traumatizing and she wouldn't go back on our second trip. She also really loved all the characters, we spent a lot of time meeting them and they were always charming. Is Character Connection still open at Epcot? It was a lovely low-key place. Fireworks and parades--she was really too little, the parade at AK was the best, lots of characters high-fiving, not too much of the agressive crowds or big imposing floats. We did some of the water rides in Jan also, she LOVED Kali at AK, I thought she'd be scared. The lack of crowds was worth the cold days.
We have also used Freecycle.com.
Camping--only in an RV! Dh took the kids to a local provincial park last summer. I stayed for supper and the marshmallow roast, then I drove home to a real bed.
We decided we're leaving next Tuesday after work. We fly out of Manchester NH at 6:30 am on Thursday the 6th, and Manchester is about 10 or 11 hrs' drive from here. So we'll just get out of the house and drive a couple of hours after work on Tues then drive all day Wed and overnight in NH. Flying SW from Manchester cost about $500 for all 4 of us, vs about $700 pp from the local airport. So, we should be in Orlando by about 10 am on Thursday, lots of time to get to Cape Canaveral even if there's a delay.
Homework time. Not having too much trouble catching up lately, though! Yep, too much "real" work to do, like packing! (Not the kind that merely gets one paid and keeps the health inspector from the home!
