I just got a message from a new homeschooling mom who lives near our cabin.

craigslist is the best! But i always want to get the poor unwanted animals...and df wont let me have anymore pets in out appartment.

We took three of the boys for haircuts last night... including little Ryan. He sat on my lap, I asked if he wanted to sit like a big boy and he said "No, LAP!". He did really good, and look out ladies, he's quite handsome now! His hair grows like weeds, he's not quite two and this was his 6th haircut. We had to take him in before he was 1 because it was getting into his eyes all the time.

That's so sweet! My 5 year old (Ben) just adores my brother's wife. They just got married in September.

I can't imagine when DD(18) moves out/gets married. DD(4) cries every time she leaves for college. She comes back every afternoon.

Wow, some of you will be gone next week! I will be here online until the 7th, I will not be posting the morning of the 8th! I have to get up too early to get to the airport.

So, when does everyone get down to Florida?

We arrive Dec. 1 at 1:30 PM! We're leaving home Friday, and I can't wait!

That's pretty good camping weather for us!

Back to bed until 9 sounds so good right now. It is freezing in my house (really old and drafty). There is a 15 degree difference between foot level and face level, I don't even want to think how hot it is at the ceiling. Our gas bill is almost enough each month to take another cruise...maybe we should bundle up and save the money...more Disney?

We live in an old and drafty house, too. It won't be quite as bad this winter because when we remodeled DGD room and the bathroom we saw that there was no insulation (or anything else!) between the outside siding and the interior dry wall/paneling! We fixed that really fast!

We've gotten tons of stuff from craigslist, including our living room furniture and one of our dogs! That may be where my DIL found the chinchilla and the rabbit, too, but I'm not sure.

OK, today is my last day here at the office, and every possible crisis has developed. Why can't today be like yesterday? It was so quiet I could have slept all day and I don't think anyone would have noticed!

I'm finally feeling much better. I think I've been sick since mid-October. I can actually breathe again! It's amazing! The best part is that I've lost almost 10 pounds with absolutely no effort at all (well, except all the things involved with being sick) so I'm really ahead of the game now, right?

OK, have to go and cope with some of these emergencies. I'll be back!

DS(7) will not get dressed. He did manage to break his prop for the Christmas play next week. Back to Party City for me today...like I didn't have enough to take care of already.

So I've mapped out how to get to our Hotel from MCO airport, and how to get to Superwalmart and an ABC liquor on Merritt Island. I've got a protected web page on my server that has all our travel itinerary and confirmation / tracking numbers. The thought is that with a web enabled cell phone I can pull up the webpage if I need it. That way I'm not searching through the carry on luggage looking for the papers. I'll copy everything to my phone too as a local copy just before we leave.

These are my chores, my wife has to start the packing process. I'll then come in and chop what she's thinking about packing in half

We have three cats, three dogs, two guinea pigs, a rabbit, a chinchilla, a hamster and loads of fish. It's a good thing we have a big house!

That is so sweet. DD(18) did move into the guest house for one night. She came home the next morning. All 50 feet.

Already being in Florida, I can tell you that it is absolutely beautiful here. I was at Disney yesterday and thought i was going to die of heat stroke!
The lights on Cinderellas castle were amazing. Right when the Fairy Godmother said, "the sun has gone down" the sky got noticable darker and everyone in the crowd gasped! Thats Disney magic for you!

It's always like that when you're leaving on vacation or for a business trip. I hate the two days before I go anywhere, because it's the most hectic time.
