What does this mean? I can't find a reference anywhere? What did I miss?

Back on page 1059, JoAnne told a joke about a woman sewing, a thimble, and George Clooney. Go read it, it's funny! Anyway, I commented that if I showed up without the skirt I'm trying to make and with George Clooney instead, you'd know why. Not a bad trade-off in my mind.

OK to get me straight on this. We are going to put little things (like what? - need some examples) in each's stockings. We are not going to put our names on the little gifts correct? And who exactly is in charge, Wendy or Krisann to get a final final count?

BTW I've looked at Target and Wal-Mart here for magnetic paper and no one seems to have it. They refer me to Home Depot or Lowes for magnetic tape.

Can you tell I'm stressing. Trying to finish my DD's school's biggest fundraiser which is next Thur - Sat - I'm in charge of getting 150 volunteers to work (from the parent base). And my DD 5mo has turned into a screaming baby that cries unless she's sleeping or eating.

Will I ever need a vacation.

Hi Mary,
Stacy (Pfishgirl) is keeping track of the Secret Mickey Participants, and will pass out a list with room numbers at the DIS meet. Just be sure to PM her with your room number.

For the stockings folks are buying party favor type things like you'd find at the Dollar Store or Oriental Trading. Someone said they got lime green leis on a past cruise. Also things like stickers or glo bracelets for the kids. Anything that looks fun. Just don't let it stress you out. If you run out of time, just buy some Christmas candy and toss it in!

Check an office supply store like Staples for the magnetic paper or magnetic tape.


Hope your DD calms down soon, mine was like that when she was a baby. Have you started her on solids yet? She may need something heavier than formula in her tummy.

Hi Mary!


Never thought of the stockings getting lifted. I will use a sharpie and write our name all over the back I guess. I'm going to use labels on the stickers. (Black on the back, harder to write on!)

I put a plastic zip tie in each stocking so we can attach them to the fish. You can usually cut the ties with a fingernail clipper when it's time to leave.

For Secret Mickey, it can be any little thing like stickers, pens, beads...just don't spend lots and lots on big things! It's just supposed to be fun and not cause stress

Stacy is keeping track of all the room numbers and such. She'll be handing out the sheet at the Meet and Greet on the first day so you'll know where to drop stuff in stockings!

I found the magnetic paper at Wal-mart in the office supply section near where they have printer labels and stuff. I'm sure they'd also carry it at places like Michael's and also at Staples or Office Depot. If you can't find the magnetic paper, just print stuff on regular paper and then put the magnetic tape on the back! The key thing is that you can't use regular old tape on the doors as DCL says this is a big no-no.

My DS is like that--of course, he's 32!

I made a run to a really great Dollar Store over the weekend and took care of most of my Secret Mickey stuff for the kids. I took DGD with me to make sure I was getting what she would think is "good stuff". Of course, she doesn't know that I bought one of most things for her, too! I'm not putting my name on anything, but the stuff for the adults will be kind of obvious--if you're paying attention to the DIS!

Hi I was invited to post over here. My family 5,8,and 1 year old from Minneapolis will be cruising along with mother and father inlaw from Green Valley AZ.

We have yet to think about packing much less getting anything out of the closet for the trip. We plan to this weekend after the house keeper is gone. We have a normal staging area room but in this house it is upstairs so we are going to lay out everything on the dining room table.

We are going to be very minimalist this trip and use the ship's laundry and not worrying about doing the laundry ourselves.

Honestly besides swim wear and shorts, there is not much else we need. We are only bring two pairs of shoes each, well three if you consider water socks.

We can wear the same clothes again because we don't care who sees us. LOL

I think that's the longest it's gone without a post during the daytime hours that I've seen since I joined.

Hi All

Went to work today after all... Worked 10 - 3:30 and went to the DR's at 4..

Not a UTI but a Bladder infection, non the less I am now on an Antibiotic.. 2 Tablets per day for 6 days.. I was told to drink lots of extra Water..

I also bought Airborn or however it is spelled.. I think I will drink 1 a day and the last one right before we get on the plane.. Just as an extra health boost..

DH wants tea so I will be back in a bit

And I still think Jojo should cruise with us.

She had to go back to the doctor to clean it up a bit and get an antibiotic ointment. It will get better.

I want him to go to.

I have to get to the DR's for medicine. I'm hoping a nice strong antibiotic for the 10 days will Kick it..
