Nope...I just booked a GTY 12 when they cut the rates..and I got what I booked :confused3 . Which is fine by me :yay: .
I guess we'll be neighbors! I REALLY feel sorry for any non-DISer Cat. 12 occupants!

well I am all caught up! Dinner is done, dishwasher is loaded. Pots are soaking..6 year old is bathed... Kitty litter cleaned...

So where is everybody??
I'm here--dinner's done, Jim is doing the dishes because I'm coming down with a cold and I'm trying to rest, fish are fed, kitties and rodents are cleaned, fed and watered, dogs are fed and walked, and now it's time to settle down and relax.

Beth

I am going over the navigator trying to find things the boys will like and things my mom and I can do and we are going to need a vacation when we get back from vacation....:lmao: The next time we go the whole family is going and they are not into doing things so we have to get what we can done on this one:thumbsup2

I know, I was told this would be so low key compared to the parks! Well, I'll just have to tell myself "you don't have to do it all this time..."

OBTW .... ours docs just arrived by UPS :woohoo:

ps: he wasn't that hot :confused3

:lmao: :rotfl2:

The bruises are a rainbow of colors, but the swelling is gone, that was the big issue for DW. He didn't look like the same boy. Thanks for asking :)

So glad to hear he's on the mend!

Wow. I guess I need to get a life, seeing as I've only been here 2 mos...

I'm starting to feel a bit sorry for the non-DIS'ers who will be on the cruise with us! I think we're going to be a very noticeable presence on that ship!

Beth

I was thinking of the kids--someone mentioned the kids being disappointed NOT getting the lanyards on another cruise...I'm betting we're going to have people asking us how you get in on the Secret Mickey...

I made me Cream of Green Pea soup and Tostitos chips.

Ick. Ick. Ick. I will eat just about anything, with the exception of green peas and celery. Making peas into soup just...rachets up their ickiness. Godspeed, Annette.

I dehydrate quickly, so I drink water all day long. If I start to get dehydrated, I get a raging headache that may take days to go away, so I try to keep myself hydrated!

When I got home, my docs were here. They were on the front porch when Jim got home, so I guess that means it's official--we're going!

Dh passed out in the aisle of an airplane once, at the start of one of our vacations. We had a tummy bug, and his way of coping with it prior to travel was to not eat or drink. Mistake. They got him back to the seat (I thought he was just gone to the bathroom, took me a minute to figure out the thud was him) and put him on oxygen. Scary. He doesn't let himself get dehydrated now.

Congrats Beth! Still waiting here, but I'm waiting for Canada Post, not any hunky guy...

This photo was posted on the DCL Picture of the Day thread by another DISer Photographer. It will not be long now :yay:

That is so cool! Seems like we picked the perfect time for our first cruise. :cool1:

Well.... I did it!! (And I should say this is Robby, not Tina, because she's HORRIBLE at math :lmao: ). Here is the post/pirate ratio using the latest pirate count on Wendy's blog. I know, I know.... I have too much time. :rolleyes1
This is the number of posts per pirate keep in mind:

Woah...yes, efficient. :worship: That's fun to look at, thanks Robby, and Angie, for starting it.

Ok, so I have another "odd" question: How sound-proof are the rooms?? We were talking last night and if there are noisy people next door or noisy kids, how easy is it to hear what's going on in the next room? Thanks!!!

We're pretty paranoid about that, I'm glad we don't have an adjoiner. We booked two nights at the Poly on our first trip, big splurge for us--and I got in the room to hear the lady next door totally YELLING at her kids. I was practically in tears thinking about our lovely little retreat being influenced by that awful abuse. (I am not immune, but you know, not constant, naggy/screechy...) I was soo glad when they moved us...:hippie:

OK I want that pirate: :rotfl2: I am Here!!!

Oh, congrats!!

Now you make me feel good. I've done 2 hit and runs in my own driveway 1 year apart in August (this past Aug). I thought I was so alone in this catagory. First was DD6 first day of school and she was not going to be late and 5 minutes before we had to leave to make that happen she was singing "Rudolf the Red Nose Raindeer" in her panties only.

Oh, there's a picture. :rotfl: As much as they make me tear my hair out, I really don't want them to "outgrow" all this whimsy...

When I was pg with dd I was rushing to a doc's appt and backed into the car of our cleaning lady in our driveway. I remember b/c we just paid the car insurance and our rates are STILL up for a small claim almost 5 years ago. It was only a few hundred bucks, we should've just paid it...Anyway, it's the only thing I've ever claimed, and it was my driveway too. Or maybe it was the hormones' fault, not the location!!

She really loves the dancin pickle..and will stand here and do the pickle dance singing.."I'm the dancing pickle"...it is too cute!! I wonder if she will let me tape her!!

And then this year was about 6 weeks post partum (sleep depervation time) only about 1 month from getting the 2 vehicles fixed from the first wreck, I backed up the Suburban into DH's work car. :scared1: I thought he was going to kill me but I said I felt sorry for the repair man, he needed money LOL:confused3

Anyone should know not to park behind a Suburban (even one with 3 mirrors, backup camera and alarm). I don't know if it is really so hard to see out of it or if I have taken the "I'm older (bigger) and have more insurance" attitude.:confused3

Anyone do the "My Coke Rewards" program? I order some stuff and was hoping it would arrive before we leave. It has been about 6 weeks now.

I do, I am glad you posted this, I ordered the water bottle holder and put it in in our grand gathering box, so I am going to have to dig it out to take on the cruise..:thumbsup2 Thanks!!!

I totally agree. The worse part was his hitch on the Suburban just crushed the Camry bumper and the bumper of the Suburban was so minor. Needless to say he started cleaning out our garage to park 2 of the 3 vehicles - so I won't do that again BUT it's almost Dec and this was in Aug and still not there yet.

:lmao: :rotfl2: :rotfl:

Now THAT would be my idea of a vacation! Although it would probably take me years to get my land legs back. It took almost five days after our B2B four-nights! And that was with smooth seas!

The worst I ever had it was last year - not a Disney - but I happened to get a cold while I was on the ship. I got back on land and swayed for 5 WEEKS. Like... to the point of bumping into walls when I was trying to walk. Went to the doctor and I still had fluid on my ear from that cold. So since I had sea legs when I got the cold, I kept them cause my inner ear had never rebalanced. :sad2: The doctor gave me a really strong decongestant and that finally cleared it up. :thumbsup2

Ok.. did you see on the News.. TSA wants us to Pack Neater  Fold our clothes and Coil are electronic cords

I'll folder it neater to begin with if they promise to fold it neater after they've gone through it.

No, no upgrade. I have a suspicion that people who canceled a higher cat. reservation to book the Cat. 12 GTY didn't get too many upgrades! We don't mind, though. All that happened to us was that we moved from Deck 2 Aft to Deck 2 Forward (and lost the split bath). We like the inside rooms, and we really do like Deck 2, so all is well--and the refund came in very handy!

We booked the Cat 12 gty to begin with and got that. It seems like a lot of the reservations with multiple rooms booked got upgrades. They can probably use the space. :thumbsup2

Ok, so I have another "odd" question: How sound-proof are the rooms?? We were talking last night and if there are noisy people next door or noisy kids, how easy is it to hear what's going on in the next room? Thanks!!!

Oh... sure... you're worried about the other people... ok... yeah... :lmao: :lmao:

So I thought I would post this here as well. Over on the photography forum there is a picture of my DB, DSIL, and their daughter that I photoshopped and I am one the 8 finalists in this week's poll. If anyone gets a second and wouldn't mind voting for me, I'd really appreciate it. It's not like I get anything cool for winning, other than the satisfaction, (which can be the greatest reward sometimes.) Anyway..... here's the link over there. :thumbsup2
