Umm... is this currently going on? Cause in September, we did dish our own food, traded pins and served ourselves at the drink station

:confused3

They do it whenever there has been sign of sickness. Then they go back to standard procedure when the risk has passed. I was impressed.

I am watching Mythbusters and have seen about 20 carnival commercials and I was thinking I don't think I have ever seen a DCL commercial:confused3 must be a bunch of CRAZY disney addicts around that they don't even have to advertise....:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

I bring a small pack of Lysol wipes with me and wipe down things like the remote, the toilet handle, the phone, the safe. I know my germs and bathing/washing habits, but I do not know that of the passengers before us.

Not paranoid as I believe in good bacteria, but just pro-active instead of reactive.

At home we do NOT use antibacterial soap as we believe that has helped with the spread of resistant strains of critters.

At work we have a ton of tubes of AntiBacterial hand gel all over the store.. and in my purse..

I did find out that too much is bad for your skin.. It takes away the natural oils in your skin

I remember the old ones where the kids don't want to leave the kids area and the parents are "forced" to go have fun on their own. What a selling point! :thumbsup2

Do the food and service help one forget about the costs? It is quite a chunk of change but it has to have something super appealing for there to be such a demand. :confused3

The membership is major $$$. Individual membership is initial of around $7500 then $4500 per year fee. Corporate is more. The cost of the brunch we went to was really not bad though. It was $75 per person, but included a hopper pass to the two parks. That is around 50 something now, I think. The only problem is that the cost was the same whether or not you needed the park hopper. It was very good and the service was impeccable. Brunch is buffet and then a served entree. When we would return to our table from the buffet our napkins would be refolded and back on the table just like when we came in. :) They were very attentive, but not intrusive. The decor was selected by Walt and Lillian and I think that history is the attraction for us.

It drives me nuts that the boys do not wash their hands all day long at school that they use only the sanitizer.... So I make them go to the bathroom when they get back from the bathroom and wash their hands when the teacher is not there and they have to ask to use the restroom before they eat to wash their hands with soap and water.... When I found out they go from recess to lunch with just using sanitizer I almost fainted I mean the sand box is just a litter box.... :scared: I can just imagine the other parents will freak out if they knew what was going on.
