If it's the one I'm thinking of, I've had it when I was back east, but they don't have it out here. I could be thinking of the wrong things though. :headache:

I think it is out of DC. They are springing up all over tha Atlanta area. They have great burgers and fries. They have a little sign in each store that lets you know what town in Idaho the potatos are from. I wonder if anyone could tell where their potato grew by the way it tastes?
I think there are some Five Guys in Orlando now!

The first time I ever had In&Out, the middle of the burger was very pink. Like... practically raw ground beef, pink. It really kinda put me off them. I gave them one more chance and that time, the fries were so undercooked they were still hard. :confused3 So now when we need a burger fix, we just do Jack in the Box.

We lived in So. Cal for many years. I never really got the In&Out Burger thing either. Just another burger to me and I much prefer yummy McDonalds fires. They are my favorite fry!

Hellooooooooooooo... Hope you all didn't mind my what 60 posts of rambles :scared1: I couldn't believe it took me almost 2 hours to write all those.. In between with the 40 second rule.. :faint:

5 Guys Burgers & Fries.. there is one in the new shopping center near our house in Florida.. We were told it's YummY.. but it was open as of October.. I am sure it is by now.. Maybe DH & I will have to try them in December.. Funny there is a Mc Donalds in the same Mall area.. :confused3

Ok so my MAIN purpose of being here right now....

:cheer2: :dance3: I'M DOING THE DOCKET DANCE !!! :dance3: :cheer2:

Now I am even More excited then before.. It makes it so Official when you have the Documents in your hands.. :woohoo:

:woohoo: for your documents! I am expecting our Santa stuff today and hopefully our documents. :cool1: We did get our Magica Express stuff yesterday. But, they did not include any for nephew his wife and son. :confused3 They fly in on a different day, so I am hoping just a separate envelope that will show up today. If not I'll be call DVC again. I also have to call DCL today. They still have a few of our group on late dining and a few on early. :confused3 Which part of linked am I not understanding. Evening meal is THE reason to link ressies.

Good morning/afternoon/evening, depending on where you are! I'm going to try to catch up (again--you're just too busy for me;))!

Ladies...a nail question. Do any of you have acrlyics?? My nails are soft and during the current weather...constantly breaking. Are they worth it? Do they last? How long?

Tx
I have three good things about myself--at least for "a woman of a certain age". I have great nails, great hair, and great teeth. My teeth are crooked and not pearly white any more, but they're strong and healthy and all mine. My hair is strong, still not gray, and grows very quickly (which explains the length). My nails are strong and also grow quickly. I've never had acrylics for two reasons: I don't like spending that much money on myself, I'd rather spend it on goodies like computer stuff; and I don't like strangers doing things to me that I consider personal. I don't get massages and other things like that either.

I don't know about you, but some of these Chinese recalls are getting out of hand.

Amber: That picture was great! Thanks for the chuckle this morning

Is anyone going to the Christmas party at the Magic Kingdom? We might on the 7th.:santa:
We're not doing a MVMCP this year, and on the 7th we'll be at the Candlelight Processional at Epcot. We though about the party, but decided it just isn't worth the extra expense for us since this trip is kind of expensive as it is.

Hello Everybody! :goodvibes

Man this has been a busy place today and I got some catching up to do. :surfweb: I saw something about someone getting their cruise docs and that is so cool. Everyone should be getting theirs soon and then the anticipation will kick into overdrive.

- Bill
Bill: You're anticipation hasn't kicked into overdrive yet? Mine did--the day I made my final payment. Now that my business trip is over, I'm REALLY in cruise mode!

So who IS going to be going shopping on Black Friday? Do you go every year? Is it a tradition for you? What time do you actually get up to go? Do you kinda wake up, roll out of bed, dress and go? or do you shower, have coffee, breakfast and wake up even earlier then the stores open? I am curious where / how "Black Friday" got it's name :confused3

If you're "in the black" does that mean you made a Profit.. or is that "in the red"

The last time I was in a store on Black Friday was 33 years ago when I managed a department in Sears. I had to be there at 6 AM, and I had to stay until store closing--at midnight. I quit that job the next morning.

Black Friday gets its name from two sources--one is that all of the stores will be "in the black" (making a profit) after the sales, and the other is that it's a very black day for those people who have to work in the stores. I have never been as abused by customers (and supervisors) as I was that last Black Friday that I worked.

Beth How did you do in AC ?? Are you back home yet??
I did great--I came home with all of my money--I was too tired to go into the casino:rotfl:! Working at the convention is a lot of fun, but it can be exhausting, since I'm not used to standing all day and being nice to people! It's the standing part that I'm not used to, not the being nice! I guess that means I won't be buying those Cove Cafe beverages for all of you, but you are certainly welcome to join me whenever you find me there!

Oh and Emi.. Where is our Bride To Be :bride: How is it working for Disney? I loved working for the Store.. and I think maybe DS & I will be able to do our Summer at WDW this year.. Depends on what he Plans to do with the First Aid / EMT service here.. Oh and Now work too.. :sad2: Ok so maybe He won't be working in WDW this summer with Mom :guilty:
If he's a certified EMT he may be able to serve in Florida. Our first aid squad has "summer members" every year. They get credit for serving here, and their home squads are notified of their credit so that they can keep their certifications. He should see if something like that is available!

IIRC, there is only one LA based person on this thread. So most of the rest of you do not know the joy that is IN/OUT burger.

I went out to California with a bunch of friends years ago. The first thing we had to do when we got to LA was go to In&Out. I'm not a real big burger fan, but everybody else loved it!

OK, I'm off work today, and I have a week's worth of :laundy: from my trip, we're doing our decorating tomorrow, which means we have to move the living room furniture around, which means I have to clean behind all the furniture, so I'll be really busy (and probably really tired by the end of the day). I'll be back later.

Please note that my "no pirate" record remains intact!

Beth

 Congratualtions on the documents. I just spoke to reservations to add DD(18) to our trip. She finally got up the nerve to ask her instructors if she could take her finals early! The reservationist told me I should get my documents today.

As for Five Guys, not the same as McDonald's, about twice the price. Get the small burger too when you try Five Guys. The regular burger has double meat and it is too much, even for a big gal like me. We also split the fries. You get a cup and a scoop in a paper bag. Depending on where you go the scoop can be big or small. Still a lot of fries. Oh, they will put grilled onions and peppers on the burger, my favorite.

Burgerville is the big deal out here. It is very good too, they use Tillamook cheese which is yummy, and yep about twice the price of McDonalds or Burger King. I don't go there often because if I am going to pay $6 for a burger I do not want to eat it in a fast food atmosphere...I want it brought to me. :confused3 ;) There is a billboard at the souther border of Oregon and at the eastern border as you head into Idaho telling you how many miles to the next Burgerville. I don't remember the miles, but it is all the way around the world. Cute signs, they always make me smile.

Most of them are coming to my house! :scared1: :rotfl: :lmao: :lmao:

And I should be painting, cleaning, shopping for food or SOMETHING other than :surfweb: You can be described as an addict when you allow an activity to interfere with your life/relationships. :rolleyes1 Guess I am!

Has anyone ever been on DCL for December 25th? Does Santa Claus cruise with you at all? Probably not huh?? :confused3 I was curious.. They Should have a Santa :santa:

Yes, and yes! Christmas 2004 and Santa met with the children on Christmas Eve. Mrs Claus is on all the Dec cruises and reads to the children one evening in the atrium. I think Mr. Santa is real busy so she has time to go cruise with us! ;)

Not me!! I'm enjoying your idle chatter! :surfweb:

Awww Thanks.. :goodvibes I didn't realise when I started that it was 60 posts or that it would take 2 hours.. and I know how some people were annoyed at others for almost the same thing I did.. But I at least tried to keep my conversations going and have something to say and not just quote things or count or just use emotes.. and ya' know what... It's harder then you think.. :headache: I'm glad I didn't upset you.. I didn't intend to upset anyone ..

I just seem to have a Rambling problem :guilty: even in Real Life :sad2:

DS just left for school... He is taking the bus since I am Not working today.. I will pick him up at Vocational School at 1pm and we will be going to BJ's to get the Food for the different Hunger Relief charities :thumbsup2 I need to make sure I bring Bags.. I wonder how much Money, BJ's saves every day by NOT having bags for your groceries? and I wonder who came up with the idea? Hey lets Not have bags to bag people's groceries  we could save a bunch of money popcorn::

I'd have to not shop there. I can barely remember to take my debit card much less bags! :sad2:

Ok, Now THAT is Great!!! I'm so glad that Santa visits and reading with Mrs Claus sounds alot of fun..

She cruises all December long? Do you need a ticket or just show up when the Navigator tells you she is there? :confused3

Can I borrow some one's child to listen to a story with Mrs Claus please?? :rolleyes1

There is always a group of our Thanksgiving guests that go out together. Several of our family live in Washington State. They love to do their shopping in Oregon because we have no sales tax. SO, by getting the deals of Black Friday and not paying the 8% sales tax they are able to save enough money on their Christmas shopping to pay for their 3-4 day trip here, both gas and hotel bill. :thumbsup2 I sometimes go with them, sometimes I sleep. We all meet for breakfast at 10 am after the shoppers finish up and the rest wake up. We usually have 30 plus at breakfast.
