Well we are only in need of Utah in our state quarter series. Raiding our piggy bank only yielded $34 in change though. Sounds like enough for a tip at the spa this weekend! :rotfl:

WoW so many people going the day before the cruise and after the cruise to MVMCP :guilty: I'm still trying to get DH to go after the cruise..

We are going to Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party (it's a surprise!) the night before so we will be staying in orlando too. Not sure where yet. We have to get two rooms so looking to go cheap.

PJ found some villa-type lodgings that had two bedrooms. Do you want me to find out the name of them? We haven't stayed in them yet, and we're not booked to stay there on the 7th. The last time we checked they were $85 a night, but I'm sure the rate fluctuates. We drove by them the last time we were up there and they looked fine. They're in Kissimmee, not too far from WDW.

Great, any info would be a big help.

BTW, I just sent you a private message.

I believe you get a boarding number according to when you got registered at the port. They do have preboarding for those who need it :)

Oh no! dont tell me this...i will get there at 7am just to be first in line haha:rotfl: I am very competitive when it comes to lines! Not as bad as the woman at WDW who got in a fist fight for someone cutting in line at the teacups...but close!

Worst mother in the world, I tell you.

DD's left thumb is so chapped because of her sucking it. I told her the captain will kick her off the ship if he catches her sucking it.

There is a special place in some circle of Dante's Inferno for me.

We are taking the kids to Chef Mickey while at WDW before the cruise. But, this extra time with the characters will be nice too. I am sure they will be out there dancing. :dance3:

Oh I have to check out about doing Chef Mickey - I thought it was closed for the renovations at the hotel - we normally go to Chef Mickey everytime we go and I was kinda sad I thought it was closed.

Hi Cindy,

I do have a daughter who is 15 that wants to hang out at the stack again. I did find that the kids there seemed to be so much more mature than her, I'm not sure where she will fit in. BTW, we homeschool too. Been doing it now for 18 years! Whew...:teacher:

We homeschool too - but only our 2 year so no pros like you all - we have a son who is 10 and a daughter who is 12.

I can't image going to the VMCP the night before the cruise. The park is open 'til 12 (and of course I'd have to stay until the end to get my money's worth). Then it takes a while to get out of the park due to the crowds. Too late for me - I want to be up early and over to the port. And I am NOT a morning person :scared1:

It looks like I have to beat Emi to the registration line :lmao:

I was thinking the same thing.. I will go after but I won't go before.. Not if I want to make it to the ship for our Meet & Greet ;)

I'm not much of a morning person either, that is until I started cake decorating at Publix part time. I usually am at work at 4 am, unless I want to go in late - at 6 am. Now, even on my days off I'm up at 6 am - auugh!

You will have to beat me to the line! :coffee:

Regarding Palo reservations - I know that because I was able to make my reservations way early compared to others so I may not totally understand how it feels BUT we did have dinner last year at Palo (and it was a last minute cruise - booked less than 30 days or so out) but had the romance package so they made our Palo reservation for us.

While I enjoyed the dinner it was not the end all to end all. It seems to me too much pressure is being put on this one dining experience and like the whole cruise will be ruined if reservations are not gotten. Am I the only one who enjoys the Palo but at the same time would not let it ruin my trip if I could not get a reservation. I almost feel like giving up my reservation just so someone else could have it if it means so much to others.

Thanks for "listening" just had to express this.

A fellow early riser who can understand my pain!

I dont think i have to worry about the lines because our wedding coordinator/concierge has to take us on the ship special. So i think i will probably be missing the meet and greet.
We are probably the first people in history to get a concierge at a cat 11!

So glad your husband made it home safe! Tell him thanks from our family!

I forgot about the romance package! thats a great idea for those who are deperate for a reservation (and have the extra money!) . Although from the sounds of it, it seems easy enough to just run to the reservation desk if you get onboard early enough.

We so appreciate the sacrifice your family is making - while your husband defends our freedoms. THANK YOU!
