Who is going on the canal crossing with Disney next year?

DH and I are doing the WBPC cruise. Glad that I booked my cat. 9 stateroom for that one because I just found out that DH and I are in one of the cat. 12's for this one. I really don't mind the inside staterooms but of course I was hoping for an upgrade. Oh well. We still get to ...love those Mickey bars!

I glanced in the mirror and saw my very first GREY HAIR!!!

It is off to the salon first thing Monday morning.

I hate to point this out but even when you color it ..... it is still a grey hair it just looks different.

I have come to believe like a comedian I heard say "it may have turned grey but at least it didn't turn loose."

So, what is everyone doing on a Sat nite? I am sitting here with my laptop watching Independence Day.

We are all caught up on Heros though!!

Hey, does anyone here watch Boston Legal? Two weeks ago the show wasn't on because of news program, but the one that we recorded last week, was the one after the one that was supposed to be on. SO, they didn't reshow the episode they pulled, when they were supposed to.

Did anyone else notice this??

Everyone does HAVE to get up and go to the inspection by the US Agents.

While it does seems "anti-cruise" it is not DCL's idea but rather the US government's as a response to the events of the last several years.

Do I like doing it? No but it would be very bad to hold everyone else on their vacation just because I thought it was an inconvenience. Someone always is late and someone has to go to their cabin to get them.

Not to worry, I'm not a rule-breaker. Remember I even pay attention in class. But yeah, I'll bring the kids in their jammies...

I read somebody's TR and she was up early every morning, it sounded lovely. I told dh I want him to find our walkie-talkies so I can wander off and he can just let me know when everyone else gets up. And it's a great time to do laundry. Our trip to WDW last winter, we were at CBR for 2 weeks, and my "alone time" was mostly hanging out in the laundry. Such is the lot of a mommy of little ones, but then again I wouldn't trade these days for the world...

Yes, that's traumatic...I remember. I'd rather turn 40 again than find my first grey again.

Sorry...can't help myself...but I am 46 and not a grey hair in sight!!
DH on the other hand is a tad younger than I, and lots greyer!!

But lots of grey must = lots of hair, right?? For the guys, I don't think the grey is the big thing, it's whether there's anything up there with any colour!!

I wouldn't...but I'd make my kids wear it!

We got an unexpected first blast of winter tonight--actually had to pull over on a hill near home b/c we lost traction--and it was pretty crowded there with others in the same position! All I could think, looking at all that slush on the road--in 4 weeks, I won't be anywhere NEAR snow... The kids were thrilled, though! I had to let them play outside in the dark so they could get their first snow fix. .

So my laptop battery will probably die soon and the dishes will get LOUDER and then it'll be pirate time...wonder if there's any radar starting to ping yet??

My DH still has all his, but he actually started going grey at the temples when he was 21. He's always been a "worrier" though. It actually worked to his advantage for a while workwise since he was the new kid on the block playing with the big boys. It might have all gone differently if they'd known how young he really was.

I'm hibernating in my home office working on an idea for an art piece. I'm coming down with a cold and I don't have time to be sick, so I'm taking tonight off to rest and try to beat this thing. Jim is in the kitchen baking an apple pie made by my good friend Mrs. Smith! That will be topped with French vanilla ice cream and whipped cream when it's ready. I will probably wander back downstairs to indulge in that!

Last week they showed the episode that should have been shown the week before. You must have missed it! And then this week they showed the next episode. I love Boston Legal!

Most people aren't rule breakers in this case either but there are always a few. The really bad part is that no one gets off the ship for the excursions until this task is done.

I've thought about going to it in pajamas too but then I'd have to go buy some.
