OK, you gonna fill us in on what cat???

Yeah, I actually got one of the few Cat 12s. I'm not sure if it has anything to do with being one of the first to jump at the Cat 12 gty rates or not. Probably no rhyme or reason to it.

Ah, well... at least it's on the ship. :) We've sailed in an 11 before and actually liked the lack of light for sleeping. And we've sailed in a Cat 9 on Deck 2 before. And I actually preferred Deck 2 to Deck 6. So this is just like combining the two ;)

So we got our room--cat 11. Eh. Was hoping for better than what they had to give us.

Hey at least you got an upgrade! We are a cat 12, and assigned cat 12, but still a cat 12.

Any other upgrades??

Well, then... Howdy, neighbor!! :lmao:

Wouldn't it actually be funny if every one of the Cat 12s was actually filled by people here? We could have our own little block party. :cool1:

We'll be neighbors, since we got a cat 12 too. In August we were on deck 5 in one of the SPH cabins. Being on that deck with the kids was awesome.

Not so much. We are 4 booking a 12, so 11 was "guaranteed" as none of the 12s sleep 4. Still, makes me feel a little better that if you booked at the same time and didn't get an upgrade either...misery loves company, right? Hardly miserable, not the right word, but I was really hoping for a split bath at least--it'll be cosy with 4 of us!

Pout. Pretty disappointed. Wasn't letting the lack of Palo bug me, but this--disappoints me. I know, don't book what you're not happy living with. Still, I read so many times first time cruisers are likely to get the bump up, we're celebrating "a big one"...eh. Feeling flat about it. I don't want to post our cabin number publicly, it's on Deck 6, kind of mid-ships I guess. Oh well, I'll keep busy going to look that up...

So I started a list of DISers who'll be on the cruise, but will be skipping Secret Mickey. So far I have JoiseyMom and Ragdoll. Anyone else who wants to be included, please PM me. We don't want to lose touch once we get onboard. That'd just be a shame.:sad2:

Please add us to the list! I'd love to get connected with everyone, but we won't be doing the Secret Mickey.

Cindy

I do not have a cabin number yet. :sad2: I am a party of 4 and 2 with cat 12rooms. Do you think it makes a difference that we have two rooms? I would love an upgrade, no big deal if we don't get one.

I am sorry youa re disappointed. Seems some got upgraded. All the cat 4's from the toher day are gone. There are now 2 cat 8's, 2 cat 5's and 3 cat 7's. So only 7 cabins left, I guess we are a full ship!!

MMMMMM :). Peace and quiet. The kids went with their grandparents. I have until 10 or 11 tomorrow morning. :goodvibes

:goodvibes Congratulations on the peace and quiet! :goodvibes

:rolleyes1 We have to way until the cruise to be completely child-free. :sad2: We even have a romantic dinner planned while at WDW before the cruise. However, we'll have DS2 with us (DS7 and DD5 will be in a kid's area at one of the resorts :cheer2:). So, I am REALLY looking forward to the cruise! :cool1:

We got our stateroom assignment :woohoo:

We're in a Cat. 6, which is what we reserved. Now I'm trying to figure out if our verandah is plexiglass or metal. I've looked at the deck plans, but don't understand what the little "triangles" are on some rooms. Does anyone know what they mean?

Either way - I'm thrilled to have my assignment. It's getting closer - 4 weeks from today we head out on our vacation!

Can we be added too, we're in 2510 but I was wondering if we might get bumped up. If you are already assigned is there a chance before you leave and do they just contact you are do I just keep checking? What does the Secret Santa entail? :santa:

Me and my DH will not be participating in the Secret Mickey.

I think the triangles mean it's a connecting room? If you have the Passporter you can look it up, it has the connecting rooms identified in its list.

If you're talking about the little triangles that point toward the cabin beside you, that means it's a connecting cabin. The cabins with the metal verandahs have an asterisk (*) beside the room number. I don't think any of the metal verandah cabins are connecting ones... so I'm guessing you have a clear one. :)

Thanks for reminding me to check my Passporter :) I got my answer! Looks like we have a plexiglass verandah, which is what I was wanting :woohoo:

:woohoo: Did I read correctly, all the Cat. 4's are booked? :scratchin Hmmmm! I guess I need to start crossing my fingers and shaking that pixie dust around. I'm very happy with what we have booked. However, an upgrade would be a nice "treat". :goodvibes I think we all knew, when the word got out on the discounts for this cruise, it would fill up quickly. As someone mentioned before, Disney knows how to make money!
