Not much.. :sad2: DH is a party pooper..

We go to dinner at 8:30pm, walk up on deck for a bit, go back to the room and get changed.. DH falls asleep and I watch TV or Read..

Sometimes we get coffee and sit on the Balcony or up on deck..

Once we saw Pirates of the Caribbean at like 11pm or something..

I'm the night owl.. :surfweb:

Well the clubs are fun. We went to match your mate, and it was hysterical!! I wouldn't mind doing movies during the day, DH doens't like movies in theaters.

We go to the Art Auction :thumbsup2
Free Champaign and It's fun to see who pays the most for a painting
And DH likes to see what WDW Memorabilia is at the auction..

Last time he wanted to buy the Snow White Ride Time Wait sign :sad2:

Nope, we got Dinner but never got Tea or Brunch.. When Wendy & Angie made their Brunch ressies.. They were already too full so I couldn't join..

Stacy, I have you with our group, :thumbsup2 but it looks like we may not get it. I don't know how they decide who to give them to, except the suites are of course taken care of first. I will check with them in a couple of days if I don't hear from them.

I GOT BRUNCH RESSIES FOR ME AND DH!!!!!!!!!

Congrats! :woohoo:

I got some great news tonight about a super cool opportunity at work that I really wanted. Well I went through 2 interviews last week and I got the call tonight that I got it!!!
- Bill

Congratulations Bill, I'm so happy for you!  :cheer2:

I saw the area where they had the fruit and paninis. There was always a line there.
- Jennifer

I'm hoping they extend Goofy's Galley when the Magic goes into drydock. That's the one place on the ship where there always seems to be a line.

To make that story even funnier, that guy had just bragged because he had recorded himself in a funny voice saying "ring...ring...ring...ring" and that was his ringer. Also, he was charging phone where the outlets were in this room of 200 people and it happened to be in the opposite corner from where he was sitting. So the facilitator is doing the introductory PowerPoint slides and when he gets to the one to make sure to turn off your cell phone, the crowd hears "ring...ring...ring...ring" over and over as he has to make the walk of shame :tiptoe: across the room to go shut it off. :lmao: :rotfl2: :rotfl: I have never before seen that shade of red that he turned. :headache: Later in the week, he had overslept and had to rush to the meeting and we KNEW he didn't have time to shut off his ringer and, what do you know, the ringer demons got him again. :) Man, either I am immature for getting a chuckle out of that or just an eternal kid at heart. A fine line at times. :goodvibes

- Bill

Awesome!!:thumbsup2

Ours is always turned off for privacy reasons.

- Jennifer

Mine too.

Ok, so I have to tell you about mine. My manager in my office is one of these types that has more money than he really should. He's ALWAYS buying new toys on-line and having them shipped to our office. One day while he's out, I decide to pull one over on him. Now mind you, I've only been here around a year, or a year and a half at this time. I decided to take a LARGE cardboard box, slice off the bottom, and fill it with packing peanuts. I simply place the box in front of his door to his office because he always keeps his door closed and locked when he's not there. (Wonder why?? :rolleyes1 ) Anyway, so he comes into the office and sees something at his door and wonders "what did I order now??" Picks it up and peanuts go EVERYWHERE. I couldn't quit crying because I was laughing too hard!!! :rotfl2: He never even suspected it was me. :rolleyes1

Okay, I'm gonna be sure not to piss YOU off. :rotfl: :rotfl:

Tacos??? I didn't see tacos! I will have to look more closely next time. :)

- Bill

They have them at Plutos. They aren't spicy enough for me, but the guacamole they have there is great on a cheeseburger.:thumbsup2

No word from Dining on our group request yet.
:sad2: I'll PM you the contact info for the lady I spoke to yesterday. Maybe you can get the room for High Tea, since you put in the original request back in February.

LOL, I am sure my DH will get along with at least some of the our group! I can see the bar scene. Hey, where's your wife, with this weird online cult..where's yours!! :rotfl2:

:lmao:

Some time between now and about noon on Dec. 8;).

I figure that the worst that can happen is that I get a room down the hall from where I would have been anyway, since I was already booked on Deck 2. So I'm planning to be on Deck 2 (which I love) and thinking that the only decks I've never stayed on are 1 and 8, and I can't figure out why I wouldn't like them. Noise doesn't bother us, so even a bed in the engine room wouldn't keep us awake at night!

Beth

Nothing doing for brunch reservations this morning. We will have to look again if Ms.Mork gets her private room. I am hoping not to have to stress about it embarkation morning.

Oh I just remembered that someone had asked about High School Musical onboard...

When we were on the Med cruise they had a HSM family dance party in Studio Sea one night, and a HSM Karaoke another. Even though we don't have as many nights this time, I'd be surprised if they didn't have it onboard.

Oh and they were playing HSM out by the pool too. I don't remember if it was on the in-room movies.

They also had HSM merchandise in Mickey's Mates.

DH and I were just commenting how we feel for parents of young kids this Holiday season. Since we do not do Christmas, it does not affect us, but lots of our secular and Christian friends do. With all the recalls going on, we wonder how some parents are going to be able to shop. DD had asked for AquaDots for her birthday, but now that is off the table even though I know she would not swallow them.

Everyday it seems it is something new on the recall list.

I had to adjust the pirate scoring, based upon the high number of posts we have! I added a pirate: to Cruise and DrHug's totals.

The current score is based upon
100th post = 1 Pirate
500th post = 2 Pirates
1000th post = 3 Pirates
5000th post = 4 Pirates
10000th post = 5 Pirates
15000th post = 4 Pirates
20000th post = 5 Pirates

Brack 24
Pfishgirl 21
JsMom2 20
TXTaylors 18
Cruise 13
Mommyoftwinfants 10
Mrs Mork 9
AmberDaClown 8
RBennett 7
Dr Hug 5
Coastgirl 4
Plutojudy 1
WIFamily 1

Well I don't do Christmas, but we do do Chanukah, and my kids get gifts for 8 nights so it effects me a bit. DD11 wants mostly video games, but I have gotten her more than that, and nothing was on the list. DD6 loves cars, and thankfully the only one on the list he had, and it was safe. I have purchased more car toys for him, but nothing else has cropped up on the list. I know the toys my mil has purchased isn't on the list. We just watch the recalls and go with the flow.

Wow, this place was dead last night. Everyone got pirated out?? :rotfl:

OK, now I'm official! I finished all of my online check-in forms. I did have one of those "now what?" moments while filling out the payment authorization. I didn't realize that the people with whom I am linked would show up on that list. I think I'm a pretty nice person, but I'm not assuming financial responsibility for everyone on the ship! Gee, I didn't even have that nightmare yet!:rotfl2:

LOL, that's funny!! I filled out all the forms before I got linked, so they didn't come up. They all came up for my brunch ressie though!!

Heck, I don't care if I get an upgrade...I just want a cabin assignment!!

I've never got an upgrade but I've never booked a gty either. We usually travel with my family, three rooms, and some of them book gty. My daughter who booked a cat 12 gty, got upgraded to a cat. 4. The reason for that fantastic upgrade was the room they gave them was in bad need of repair. They should have never put them in that cabin to start with. Most of the cabins were full, so that's why they got that good of an upgrade.

:hourglass for the cabin numbers.

We were moved to a 9 from our 11 on our first day onboard last Dec due to a plumbing problem. There was an odor coming from the bathroom. After 3 tries to get rid of it (only about an hour) guest services sent a manager who took us to look at another room (the 9) to see if it would be "acceptable". :confused3 It was on deck 2, moving from 6 so they may have thought we would not want to move floors. They said they also had another 11 on our same floor we could have.....we took the 9. :)

I've been lurking here for about 6 weeks or longer. I wanted to post earlier, but it took me a while to read all about my new friends that I was about to meet. :grouphug:

So forgive me for not chimming in sooner. You are a chatty group. That's meant to be a good compliment.
