We're staying at the Holiday Inn. When we checked in they put us in a room that had luggage and personal items in the bathroom. The person hadn't left yet but forgot to tell the front desk. They were very apologetic and gave us a suite.

Oh that would be weird...glad you got it fixed up.

Us cat12's can dream! First cruise + wedding + cat12 = maybe?

I really, really want an upgrade too, but I think bride trumps our anniversary. Good luck, you deserve all the extra magic you get!

Hi All !!

Well I went to court and I told my story..
I waited around and guess what?? The ticket was thrown out and no fees were charged.. Soooooo I was Very happy.. and I promised the judge I will never park in the Library in the wrong area again..

Woohoo! That feels good! I fought a moving violation years ago (shared my office then with a retired Constabulary inspector, who coached me ) and they threw it out also on a "technicality"...the judge was quite stern and said he was sure I broke SOME law, but not the one they had written on my ticket! Feels good, eh? "I fought the law and..I WON! I fought the law and I WON"!

DS and I went to Walmart for the 50% off Halloween Sale and of course they removed ALL of the Adult Costumes and I will no way shape or form fit into a child's pirate costume soooooo no dressing for the cruise by me I do have my ears so they will have to do..

Ok costumely-challenged. I just ordered today from www . buycostumes . com . 25% off everything and they've got a big selection of pirate stuff. BUT the price of this great tip is that NO ONE else is allowed to order "Pirate's Wench Elite Collection" , okay???

DH is too funny.. He asked, does he have to wear Ears or a Lime Green T-shirt cause if he does.. He ain't eatting..

Oh, I ordered a sword for dh with my "Pirate Wench Elite", and now I'm wondering, can we put that in our checked bag these days? I'm sure it's plastic.

And speaking of "contraband", can we bring a corkscrew on in checked bags, both for the airline and the cruise? I know we can request one, but we like to be self-sufficient.

You'd think! We also have somewhere a plastic pistol from ds' pirate Hallowe'en costume last year. A very plasticy looking flintlock. But it's still got the orange ring around the muzzle. It's actually cool, when you press the trigger it lights up and projects a little red skull and crossbones.

I'd go on and pack the corkscrew and plastic sword in the luggage. If Disney doesn't want it on the ship, they'll take it and tell you they'll return it to you at the end of the cruise. Don't know why they wouldn't allow it since they're willing to give (or sell) you the same stuff onboard.

Yes, it took all of 5 minutes.. He went in and the orthodontist fixed it and explained that if he opens his mouth too wide, it could happen again..

Funny thing is.. On Tuesday, DS was at his friend's house, he yawned and it got stuck !! He said he went into the bathroom and fixed it, but his friend tried throwing Popcorn into his mouth like a bean bag toss

I'm hoping to get out shopping tomorrow and see if I can find a Christmas stocking for our cabin. But ds is still sick and he wouldn't appreciate being dragged through Michael's...

We are late night too, I checked with df, because he wants a romantic relaxing honeymoon, and we both decided we would much rather sit with people we know (if only online) than complete (non-dis! ) stangers!
