Wendy:

What time is it there? Are you still seven hours ahead of us (CST)? It is 2:26 AM here. :hourglass

- Jennifer

1:48 AM DIS time. Has anyone ever figured out why the DISboards clock is out of sync with everyone else? I noticed that from the first time I posted on here. :rolleyes1

- Jennifer

Yep 7 hours ahead. Well the blogsite is down, so I'll have to try again in a little bit.

Do you already have DVC ressies prior to the cruise? I was able to get everything I needed at SSR before the cruise. We were at BWV after for 2 nights, in a studio. But then a 1BR came open at SSR so they moved me there, without calling, because I'd forgotten I had the waitlist in there. It'll be handy to have the washer/dryer in the unit though. I love the idea of being able to throw a load in and not have to wait around and watch it.

Plus we are using Owners locker and now I can just leave it at SSR while we're on the ship.

I have changed it to no email subscription a WHOLE bunch of times so I just gave up..... Because it takes me a good 10 minutes everyday just to delete all of the emails I get from this thread alone...:lmao: :lmao:

I am taking the kids to get their flu mist tomorrow. I had to wait until everyone was 100% healthy. I am getting my flu shot on Monday when I go to get my weekly B12 shot. Just great, two shots in one day. I HATE NEEDLES! :scared1:

Bill turned ours off awhile back. Our e-mail kept getting flooded with notifications. It was crazy!

:goodvibes PMd you.

Bill showed me the website for the Owner's locker. I think he found it on the DVC thread. Since, we'll drive down to FL in Dec and Feb we won't need it right now. But, it seems very interesting and smart. Just like Stacy brought down some clothes to Florida. My Dad and his girlfriend did that too. When they go to FL for the winter, they board the plane with just a carry-on. They already have everything at their FL home. DVC is your FL home. "Welcome Home". :goodvibes

I know, I love the idea! If we lived in the States I'd keep more stuff there. I know we'll be back next Sept or Oct, but I don't want to put too much stuff in now in case we do a DCL cruise out of somewhere other than Pt Canaveral, and need some of the Disney stuff.

But I'm going to keep
laundry detergent, dryer sheets, shout color sheets
Brita Water Pitcher and filters
refillable water bottles
Mickey Mouse rain ponchos - where else would we wear them:confused3
paper plates, bowls, cups
plastic utensils
napkins
disposable coffee cups with lids
coffee filters
flavored creamer
a white noise machine - 110v so I can't use it here anyway
ziploc bags
bubble wrap to bring home souvenirs
small sewing kit
small first aid kit
safety pins
phone cards - in case we can't use our cells for some reason
shampoo, conditioner
shower soap
liquid hand soap
lotion
razors
beach towels
extra washcloths
I also found some food staples that had expiration dates in 2009, so that when we first get in, this year and next, we'll have something to eat without having to go out.

I thought about even leaving stuff like toothbrushes and toothpaste, but next year we won't be going back to WDW after the cruise, so we'd have to bring those for the cruise anyway.

 Is anyone else driving down to Cape Canaveral on Thursday, December 6th, to see the shuttle launch? I know people talked about it, but no one said for sure. We moved around our itinerary to make sure we didn't miss this one! :thumbsup2 Plus, it is later in the day giving us time to recover from the previous evening at one of the parks. ;)

- Jennifer

The shuttle is still scheduled for 12/6 . . .

From the NASA web page:

Next Space Shuttle Launch
STS-122/Atlantis
Target Launch Date: Dec. 6
Launch Time: 4:31 p.m. EST

Gotta go do some work. Hope you guys are in bed by the time I get back! I'll update the blog, when the website comes up.

G'Nite!:cloud9:

The boxes looked fairly big.

::yes:: in '06 they took all of our beach towels we bought in the park....

I was planning on spending the Friday before the cruise at our resort doing laundry. Meaning, I'd have to sit and wait. But, my wonderful darling Bill got us into a one bedroom at one of the DVC properties. Meaning, in-room WASHER and DRYER. :cool1: I am happy about being able to do laundry througout the whole week. :laundy:
