I just received a call from my 'sweetie'. Today she and the other women staff officers are in Charleston, WV doing reviews. Tomorrow it's Clarksburg, WV and Wednesday it will be Hagerstown, MD (I think).

All I know is that she is home Wednesday night. :woohoo: No more McDonald's for awhile. popcorn::

But we NEED you to keep collecting those Monopoly pieces!;)

Brack, On your group photo (in lime green shirts) where is Angie and Dennis? I see you and your lovely wife.

There is a lady with sunglasses almost dead center. I am right behind (above) her.....short brown hair. Dennis is right behind (above) me. :thumbsup2 Brack may have already answered this.

You could ask him and see if it flies! :lmao: :lmao: :rotfl: :rotfl2:

Believe or not.. He goes with me to a Tea at 2 on Tuesdays... ;) But I seriously think it has more to do with a certain young lady who attends with her mother :rolleyes1

I can't locate the photo but if I remember correctly they are on the back row. Angie do you remember?

She does it seems. Thanks Angie!

... Sooooooo when we get down to the last few pirate: We will need to make the "Bonus" amount enough that someone could beat the Top pirate: Poster's Count..

This reminded me of when they changed the final amounts to be "+1000" on Wheel of fortune--it was less fun watching when it was a foregone conclusion!

Good morning!

I guess maybe I should start thinking about things like booking my train fare? I really wanted to do it this weekend, but with all the upset about the cat, I just didn't get to that. However, while checking some fares the other day, I discovered that I can fly home for only about $15/pp more than taking the train. That would mean I can stay one more day at WDW. I'll have to give that a lot of thought, and then make that decision tonight, or I'll find myself walking back and forth to Orlando!

I thought we were the only ones in the "white knuckle" school of travel booking, and we've been booked for a few weeks now...Good luck making your decision!

Oh and thanks for everyone's input and info about what to do coming down - hubby really wants to see the shuttle go up so we are planning hoping to see it but if not we will still go down there as I assume there is something to visit ??? will check on that later - he is really wanting to do that.

There is a TON to do there if the space program is of interest. I actually have an annual pass--only b/c they gave it as part of the "Astronaut Training Experience" I did with my sister last year. I wish I could use it this trip, but dh and the kids have already been twice in the last couple of years and he doesn't feel like going again so soon. (Mostly b/c even with my pass it'd be about $100 for the rest of the family to go...) Kennedy itself is a huge site, the bus tour can take a few hours. I was especially excited to see them building modules for the space station, and of course the ever-popular peek at an astronaut toilet. :rotfl: Then there's also the Astronaut Hall of Fame. And there's the new "Shuttle Launch Experience" which actually induces weightlessness briefly. (Haven't done it, dying to, though the one first-hand account I heard was disappointing.) I don't know about the timing, they have special events like lunch with an astronaut. We met Gerry Carr as part of our ATX and it was just the highlight of the whole trip for me. He captained SkyLab and was in space for 6 months or something like that back in the '70s. Anyway, I'm a wee bit enthusiastic, as you can tell :hyper: --definitely worth the trip, even if you're not a huge fan, Just the sweep of technological advancement and the tremendous achievement of our species--inspiring.

Our DGS who is now 14 and is ALL boy had a tea party at a local Tea House for his 13th birthday. :thumbsup2 He and 5 of his buddies, his mom and me. They learned the history of tea and etiquette. (sp?) They all enjoyed it! ;)

I guess I quoted you too soon :rolleyes1

Well I was looking at it like this... If my son ever gets married, I won't be included in the Planning of the Wedding Reception... so this will be his Last event I can give him :sad1:

Don't be so sure! When DS and DDIL were ready to get married, her family was having "issues" and just couldn't get involved in the wedding. They didn't have any interest in planning and they didn't attend. DS and DDIL decided to elope to Las Vegas. We were attending a meeting of a national political organization there anyway, and it was the perfect opportunity. Jim and I were suddenly helping with buying a wedding gown, planning the wedding, etc. We flew to Las Vegas several days before they did to set everything up in accordance with their requests. When the time came for the ceremony, DH walked her down the aisle as a "welcome to the family" gesture. So we and 16 of our closest friends had a great time at the wedding and on the honeymoon!

Aww How sweet :goodvibes I am sooo Happy the Vegas Family wedding was so inviting for your DDIL.. What an awesome way to say Welcome to the Family then your DH walking her down the isle..

DS walked me down the isle for my wedding :goodvibes He was 10 when we married Andy :cloud9:

Okay, just a quick pirate: update, and then I'll come back later to read all the posts.

We should probably set a end date for the pirate: game. Just because the last couple weeks before we cruise, we'll want to concentrate on trip coordination. How about 8 November (30 days prior to sailing), or the 10,000th post whichever comes first????

But wait! There's more.....

Bonus of 5 Pirates for the 10,000th post!!

Thoughts????

It will be hard for me to stop because I am a "Compulsive pirate: ". "Hello my name is Brack and I am a pirate: " :lmao:

If we are going to stop then I vote for number 10,000. :surfweb:

My only concern would be... For 10,000 .... We may need to give 10 pirate: depending on who *cough* Brack *cough* has the Higest level of Pirates..

Meaning... As it stands right now at this moment.. if any of use were to get 10,000 and 5 pirate: We STILL wouldn't beat Brack... Sooooooo when we get down to the last few pirate: We will need to make the "Bonus" amount enough that someone could beat the Top pirate: Poster's Count..

Ok.. um.. did you all Understand that? :confused3 I almost confused myself :headache:

I understand you pirate: you! :lmao:

Ok, I know this gets asked over and over on the main board, but what do you think of our timing?

I really wanted dd to get to go to Bibbiti Bobbiti Boutique before we cruise, so I've booked her for first-available on Saturday morning, which is 9:10 am. We're just doign the "coach" package, and when we did it last year I think it only took 30-40 minutes start to finish...So, we'll be leaving DTD around 10 am, for the drive to the port. When should that put us there, and is that a good time to arrive? (I'm thinking it'll probably be close to 11:30...) Especially given that we really want to book Palo. Dh will drop us and the luggage then return the rental car while I queue up and check in.

We could probably do BBB the previous day, but we haven't got anything special planned and she really needs to be able to, you know, get worshipped :worship: princess: before the pixie dust pixiedust: wears off...

The only thing that is still "outstanding" for me in planning is our ME reservations. I am waitiing to see if our AKV waitlist comes through for before the cruise. If it doesn't then we are at SSR before and after. :thumbsup2

It's still all good. :woohoo:

I'm sure that this will work out but I would be a "basket of faryed nerves" doing it that way.

Brack I know you like XM radio and you like country music. Tell me about country music on XM.
