I had a question about the Secret Mickey Exchange. Are we supposed to identify what we're giving? I had planned to just to a drop and dash to keep with the "secret" theme, but I read on another thread where people attached their names to what they'd put in peoples fish extenders. I thought it'd be more fun to not get caught

What was everyone else planning on doing?

Im trying to move my dates around so i checked, If any of you have parties of 2 who need a Palo brunch it appears to be open.

I read an article not too long ago that was talking about how homework has really increased in the last few years. They attribute it to a more competitive environment in the work force. It talked about how it used to be good enough to just say you had a Bachelor's degree. Then employers wanted post-grad work. Now they're actually looking at transcripts and school ranking.

They interviewed a child psychologist who said children should never be given more than 10 minutes of homework per grade they're in. So a first grader should never have more than 10 minutes a night, a 5th grader - 50 minutes, and a senior in high school, 2 hours. But it doesn't seem like that holds true anymore.

Yep, last year she was supposed to have 30 min of homework. If they didn't finish the assignment in 30 min they were supposed to just stop and write the teacher a note to let her know they ran out of time. DD used to usually finish hers on the 10 min bus ride home. So this 1-2 hrs of stuff is a big change for us.

Well... since we Are Newwww and we Need the Activity... how about a point a night?? I could even offer you a Special "Meal Plan" of course... as of this moment we are still waiting for the Kitchen and Dinning Room to be delivered.. But we do have some Comfy Sofas...

Don't forget MK fireworks, Coffee or Tea or Hot Chocolate for Jasmine every night Viewable from the Front porch..

My parents are moving to that new subdivision behind MK....my DF's job keeps us in Tampa, If only we could move then i could fulfill my dream of being a love:

Thanks for sharing! One thing we found out though is that if you are already booked - and congratulations on getting a reservation by the way - the website will show available for the meal that you already have booked. I have no idea why

I tried within a minute of you posting that, but it doesn't come up for me. I really think they might cycle through it because the same thing happened with Beth and dinner reservation. She said she found an open slot... I went to check but didn't see it. I checked again two days later and it was there for me.

Do you think they can somehow open availability to blocks of reservations? It might be how they keep the system from being overwhelmed.

Sadly this isn't working. There is something quirky about the website that shows availability when you already have a confirmed booking. I only show dinner available. When I clicked on it, it only showed the time I had booked already as available.

Nothing showing for brunch. It is early to the port for us.

Do more people have early or late dining? Im begining to think that we will be missing out on the night activities by doing the later time.
