It's a term that became a lot more used once Ebay took off in popularity. I believe it originally referred to a "sniper" such as the armed forces uses. Someone who hides in the shadows, comes in quietly at the right moment and "does the job." It became popular on Ebay to refer to a person who waited until the very last seconds of an auction to bid because it almost guaranteed they wouldn't be outbid again because time had run out.

Trivia lesson for the day. :lmao:

::yes:: as far as I know, that is what it was from & meant too :confused3

Nope, not just you with the search engine. Apparently, no one in the history of the cruise forum has ever mentioned St Thomas

Some days it actually will work though. On those days, I'm just always really careful not to lose the screen that has the search results on it because I know I might not ever get them back.

It can also be Very touchy when it comes to the Exact words with Caps and lower case

:headache:

Well, I'm gonna head out to the mall for a while.

I'll probably be stopping by the BAB, Stacy. :cheer2:

And I am heading out for the day as well. We have CSI tonight :thumbsup2 so I may or may not be on later. If not, have a great evening and talk to you all tomorrow. :goodvibes

Yes, it'll work much better with the kids club schedule with the younger ones. And your older DS will probably have his own schedule with the rest of the "big kids"

That's our hope... If he gets some "friends" he'll be pretty scarce... Not that it's a problem if he isn't, but the logistics get easier for us if one is self-sufficient... :)

:thumbsup2 Thank you for the explanation. I have never bought anything off Ebay. :goodvibes

I am in the process of getting everything ready for our weekend trip. I have the carmats in the washer as we speak. :laundy: I like to travel in a "clean" car. I also, like to come home to a clean house. So, the kids are upstairs right now cleaning their playroom and bedrooms. :cool1:

If the DF were here he would thank you! I love holidays...so i will have fun delivering little treats to all of the rooms, it will be a good chance for us to take a tour of the ship! (we do put the treats in the stockings right?):santa:

Yep, in the stocking. Now the ship is pretty big and DH and I found last year that it helped for him to take one side of a deck and me the other and then meet back in the middle and go up to the next deck. We had lots of beads and there were non DIS people that had stockings hanging on the doors that we dropped a few into also. Wonder what they thought when they got a surprise in their sock! :) :thumbsup2 :goodvibes :lmao:

Well, the BAB here was reeeeeeally quiet today. There was only one woman in there with her little girl and one person working. I'm guessing it might have something to do with the big "Unable to accept Credit Cards at this time" signs on the cash registers.

We do have a WELCOME matt at the Front door.. although we use the back door since the Gsrage is detached back there..

Maybe I need to learn the Art of Towel sculpting & buy a supply of Chocolate mints for our Pillows.. ;)

Actually you don't get that at DVC. It is your home away from home. They do not come in and make your beds, etc. You get towel and trash service on day 4 or 5 I think it is. No sculpted towels or chocolates on your pillow unless you do it yourself! ;)

I had a question about the Secret Mickey Exchange. Are we supposed to identify what we're giving? I had planned to just to a drop and dash to keep with the "secret" theme, but I read on another thread where people attached their names to what they'd put in peoples fish extenders. I thought it'd be more fun to not get caught :woohoo:

What was everyone else planning on doing?

We do drop and dash! :thumbsup2

Pfishgirl... No, I'm NOT writing a Memo to myself... :rotfl2: Wendy asked where my name came from....

** Steps on Soap Box **tap * tap * tap* this thing on? :confused3

My name started many years ago... I have ALWAYS live somewhere that had to do with Water..

Thanks for the explanation. It is always neat to see how people picked a "name" or "handle". :thumbsup2

It's getting hard to keep up, but I wanted to tell you Brack how much I've enjoyed your little "finds". (And where do you find all those animated ones?? Ok, don't tell me, I already spend too much time on line.) And is it just me, or does this guy look a lot like you? ;)

Yes he does ..... in a "round" sort of way. :goodvibes

IMost of my items are Dis related.. however I am bringing Salt Water Taffy to represent NJ and the Shore.. and I will be looking for Postcards the next time I go out..
