OK, so I took it apon myself to remove all the childrens names OFF of the Secret Mickey Excahnge list... Not sure if it is too late or not.. Not sure if anyone *not us of course but you know who I mean* has printed the listing of our Cabins & Names for some Odd reasons

If you would like the list removed completely let me know.. and I will edited it out...

I did leave room numbers up, if you would like them removed, feel free to let me know...

It is so sad, knowing that we have a Spy or 2 cauing some Chaos for us and on a Disney Cruise as well :sad2: What is this world coming to.. :guilty:

I think by the time we leave we will all be GTY anways since with the money saved people can book another cruise......:rotfl2:

I also tell DH "I'm only doing the laundry that's in the hamper. Anything else gets left out." But he knows I'm going to do it anyway, cause either way, he'll end up without clean underwear and I'll have to do another load of laundry at midnight so he can be decent at work the next day.

I do this.. and I do NOT wash anything that is NOT in the laundry baskets on wash day.. and they will NOT get washed until the next wash day..

:laundy:

Let's just say my boys, DS & DH, have worn something twice :rolleyes1

Darn me for booking a 13 night stay at SSR for next year for our entire family, when I could be cruising again if I book onboard for the same time next year with a $200 OBC.... the funny thing is we weren't even suppose to be doing anything disney this year and we spent a week in Feb at OKW now a week on the Magic.....Grandparents got to love them....:cool1:

I could be wrong on this, but I think they do it on the "secret" deck on deck 7 which is COOL because my room is like 10 feet from that deck and we can throw rice at you when you come out!! :lmao: Ok, I wouldn't do that, but I would be tempted to watch from the deck 8 overlooking it!!! popcorn:: I'll even take pictures!!!:yay:

I would :confused3

How about Salt Water Taffy... since that is what I'm bringing to represent New Jersey.. We could find a microwave and throw popcorn popcorn::

Another Recall .....

Dunkin' Donuts glow sticks recalled
Staff Reports
Oct. 5, 2007 12:19 PM

Dunkin' Donuts has pulled 1 million glow sticks from their stores because they may cause choking hazards for young children.

The company said the pink and orange glow sticks were distributed free with every purchase of a dozen doughnuts box of Munchkins donut holes beginning the week of Sept. 24.

Dunkin' Donuts has not received complaints or reports of injury, But the company recalled the glow sticks because they had not been labeled properly to warn parents about the choking hazards.

DH gave me 1 of these.. It's on a necklace..

Since school started we are on bag #6 of socks and for the life of me I could not figure out what in the world was happening to all of those socks well yesterday my youngest son left his socks in the middle of the floor in the living room and I told him to come inside and put them in the laundry room so he runs and picks them up then runs to the laundry room and for some reason I decided to follow him and lo and behold I find out what was happening to all of the socks. He just stood at the door of the laundry room and threw them in, the both flew behind the washer/dryer. Needless to say I know what I am doing Sunday... Moving that washer and dryer out to get all of those socks.

:lmao: :rotfl2: I was in much the same boat, couldn't figure out where all the new socks were...had been making them pick up the floor at bedtime and put the toys in the bins. The TOYS in the BINS and the LAUNDRY in the HAMPER. :confused3 :rotfl:

I just had the worst scare of my life--the woman of "the annoying people" who aren't going to St. Maarten on our day just called--she heard that DCL is offering REALLY good discounts on the Dec. 8 cruise. She called her husband to get him to book it and they would take the grand-children as a Hanukkah gift. She called back a little while later and gave me the news--the kids can't miss school that week because of some special testing program they're having. I am the luckiest woman in the world right now--that's twice that they've been blocked out of my vacation! It's beginning to look to me like this vacation is really just meant to be!

Beth

Oooo...shudder...close call! It'd be reeeeally hard to avoid someone who wants to "bond" on a ship!

Should I stop here and let someone else Take the Glory :scared:

Edited to add................ Nahhhhhhhhhh pirate: Arrggg....

Congratulations :thumbsup2

I was up at this time and kept having this strange compulsion to sign on. :surfweb: Now I know why! :lmao:

My DH is more of a "closet person". We have loads of closets in our "suite", and I keep the laundry bag in one of them. However, he tosses all of his clothes through the closet door, without regard to where they land. I've given up searching the closet floor. When he has no more clothes, I send him on the closet hunt, and then make him do all of the laundry that he finds. It hasn't broken him of the habit, though!

Beth

20 years. He still drops his socks on the floor. I should just be able to let it go, right?? 20 years.

Beth I'm the same with his laundry; I don't go to "the heap", "the heap" must make its way to the sorting area...

I have a few "dress code" questions! About packing light, are shorts/tank tops/sun dresses fine for day time on the ship? My step mom was telling me that i would need to dress formal on a cruise ship at all times, but that seemed a bit strange to me. It is a vacation after all!
Also, to any other cruise brides or past DCL cruisers: We are going to Palo after our wedding, does this mean I can wear my wedding dress? :bride: It is formal after all!
Thanks for all the help!

Anything is appropriate (maybe not anything ..... anything decent). Dinner is a time that most people prefer to not "dress down". IMHO shorts, tank tops, etc are not good for dinner but certainly anywhere else they are.

A word for the men ...... Speedos are not appropriate ANYTIME, ANYWHERE! :scared:

It still confuses me a bit why Disney would over book all of the Cat 12s, But trust me...Im not complaining! We should all have a big online party when they start calling to tell us we have been upgraded!

I'll bring the virtual popcorn popcorn::

On our last cruise one of our DISers was scheduled to have her ceremony on the secret deck 7 and all of us where going to deck 8 to cheer and take pictures. It was raining that day so it was done in the piano bar at the far forward part of the ship. I have pictures.

HELP!!!
Ok so I bought the boys one of those Halloween inflatable mickey pirates and its head won't stay up....What can I do to fix it.....Help.

Is it leaking? You could inflate it and put it in a sink or tub of water (dunno how big they are) and see if air is coming out somewhere. I'm not sure what inflatable Mickey head thing there was for Halloween. :confused3

It must be because of who does the laundry. :laundy: I have done our family laundry for 35 years (except when I was at sea in the Navy during the first couple of years).

I have separate baskets for color and whites in my closet. I also have a 'sock' bag to wash my socks in. When I come home I undress in the closet and put things in their place (shoes, belt, pants, sweater, etc)

My DW on the other hand undresses anywhere in the house and that's where they lay. :rolleyes1 Usually it's in the downstairs bathroom.

Yes I am a Type A Compulsive Behavior Person but I really am harmless. :) Just ask Angie. :thumbsup2

JoAnne (coastgirl),

As soon as I can get DS7 and DD5 in the office at the same time, they'll PM you back. You can use the website photobucket.com to upload pictures and then copy and paste them into a message. It is the same to post pictures on the thread.
