Hi, all! Still home, still sick, but starting to feel a bit better. I have to go to work tomorrow, even if I have to crawl there, because I have a deadline to meet.
Catching up:
Jennifer--Our DGD went to Tea With Wendy when she was almost four. She loved and still talks about it. Her mom was bored to death, but Shannan still drinks her tea the way Wendy showed them.
tidoublegger: Welcome aboard! I hope your plans work out and you can join us. We're a fun bunch.
Koala Lovers: If you've been around a while, you'll remember that I went to a Teddy Bear convention back in August. I went to help a dear friend sell copies of her book "Klassic Koalas: Ancient Aboriginal Tales in New Retellings". It's just what it says, and it's a lovely book. It contains beautiful koala illustrations created by children. If you're interested in seeing more, go to
http://www.leebarwood.com (the author) and check it out. The proceeds go to the Australian Wildlife Hospital, founded in memory of Steve Irwin's mother.
Cigars and Cognac: Not for us, thanks. Cigars are a migraine trigger for me, and I avoid being around them at all costs. But if they're your thing, please enjoy!
I was wondering, too, what happened to the original people on this post. I know that the OP is on the other board, and I would imagine that some people's plans change over the course of two years. I can't imagine ever being able to book a cruise that far in the future! We have so many schedules to coordinate that we're lucky we can do it six months ahead!
Well, it's off to take some more Benadryl and some aspirin and work on my knitting for a while. I did get to spend late afternoon yesterday feasting on all the Disney shows on the Travel Channel while I was knitting. I had never seen the show about
Disneyland.
