oooooh, fun. I just shuffled! I got:

Betty Davis Eyes: Gwenyth Paltrow
Eye of the Tiger: Rocky Soundrack
You Move Me: Garth Brooks
Push: Matchbox 20
We Shall Be Free: Garth Brooks
I Want You: Savage Garden
I Don't Have To Be Me Till Monday: Steve Azar
Wrapped Up In You: Garth Brooks
White and Nerdy: Weird Al Yankovic (*sigh* I hate it when my husband thinks he's being funny)
The Red Strokes: Garth Brooks

A lot of Garth, but some pretty random stuff as well. They're all my picks except for the Weird Al.

I TOUCHED GARTH BROOKS' LEG:woohoo:

I still don't know. One of the reasons I stay in the Air Force.
Yesterday was my 14th anniversary here at my job. When I took this job, I took it temporarily (for six months) while I figured out what I want to be when I grow up. I still haven't figured it out, nor have I grown up! (For that matter, I don't think I want to be Knocked Up either!)

My DH will be thrilled to find out that this is a cruise full of "busty wenches". He often tells people that he's a "leg man", but he's looking awfully high up to be checking legs!

As for names, you can use our real ones--we're Beth and Jim. My name (real name and other nicknames) are splashed all over the internet anyway, so privacy's not an issue!

Computer Literacy: Part of my job is doing desktop publishing, and one of my favorite hobbies is creating computer art work. I used to paint (mostly oils), but developed carpal tunnel syndrome and couldn't hold a brush for a long time. I love doing computer art because I never have to figure out where to buy a particular color paint at 3 AM! I have a collection of more than 20,000 fonts, and through my job have lots of "graphics toys" at my fingertips. I've also been a professional photographer, and still love taking pictures and then working with them on the computer. I took 177 pictures at my granddaughter's soccer game last weekend, and just added them to the photo blog I set up for the team.

Now it's back to work. It seems that the minute the boss is out of reach, the crises start to pile up. I'm off to deal with the crisis of the moment! I will check back later!

Beth

JoJo the DISDog is snoring really loud. :rotfl2: I am so tempted to join him for a nap.:cloud9:

Pretty cool for a SoCal person. :thumbsup2 A lot of Garth but my DW would say that is OK. :cloud9:

:rotfl: I'm a transplant. We've only been in SoCal for 3 years now. Before that, we were 18 months in the San Francisco Bay area and before that, I was born and bred Southern. I'm originally from Virginia. :)

I dunno... in my case, time and gravity being the evil things they are, he'd be about right. :lmao:

Another country music fan!! Being in LA is so weird. Second largest city in the US and they recently switched programming on the one country music station they had here. Now it's more pop/hip-hop. I'd get it if everyone hated country, but LA is also supposedly one of the top selling markets for country music behind only Nashville and maybe a couple of other places. Country music concerts always sell out. And yet not a single radio station? It's weird. There's one located down in Orange County that I can get on a fairly good signal, but it's still weak sometimes. :sad2:

Get an XM radio :thumbsup2

Oooooh. Can I touch your hand that touched Garth's leg?!?! :yay: :yay:

Speaking of... did you see that news story about what that woman grabbed on Tim McGraw?

Honest, I only grabbed Garth's leg! I didn't go anywhere near the area Tim was grabbed. Honest. You can touch my hand, but I have washed it a few times (it's been a few years).

NYC/NJ lost their country station Y-107 a few years ago.
In Chicago we still have one country station. I love country music.

Brack, our son is always trying to convince us to get XM (he loves it), but my husband is more a TV person :happytv: than a radio person.

It is not going to be nice for someone to swoop in here now .... :confused3
