I just called DCL about prices for the cruise. By changing from our Cat11 to Cat 12 GTY I saved $770.00!

and I still keep our room credit.

OK, so, would anyone like to explain to me this GTY Is it cheaper? Do you get a better room? Do you pay 1 price no matter what type of cabin you get?

We've been in Belgium over a year now. Disneyland Paris is only a 3 hour drive from us, and we still haven't gone. But if I buy into DVC....

I really like DLP. It reminds me of DL. My quest now is to go to the Toyko and Hong Kong parks.

GTY means you're guaranteed a room in that category, but they're not telling you which one...it gives them flexibility. I have heard that a GTY room has an increased chance at an upgrade. Fingers crossed. (Especially cat 12 as there are very few actual cat 12 cabins.)

It just means that you are guaranteed at least a "12" category but you can get better room due to them running out of 12's, same goes for the other categories

DH is laughing at me Because I am looking in the Passholder book AGAIN !! I was looking at the ship's layout and did any of you realize like 90% of us are all in the Front of the ship ?? This may make it easier then I thought for the Secret Mickey

Should we make the people with rooms in the Mid to Back of the Ship relocate??

We don't do stockings...not our holiday, but I do wish you all well in your exchange. Hubby will not let me put our stateroom number. He is very private and does not want anyone to know where we are or even who we are.

Do you pay ahead of time ?? Does it cost more if you get a higer Category room ??

So you could book a 12 and end up with say an 8 ?? do You have to pay extra ??
