We don't do stockings...not our holiday, but I do wish you all well in your exchange. Hubby will not let me put our stateroom number. He is very private and does not want anyone to know where we are or even who we are.

I had my butcher grind up 8 LBS of chili meat today. Got it in the freezer. We should be in the mid 30's in a couple of weeks if the forecast holds. Either way I am loving this weather. We bought a Chiminea on Saturday and have been what my DH says is "seasoning" it. I have DD collecting all the dead branches and wood in our backyard and earning a little money. We cannot wait for a nice cool night sitting out smoking cigars (yes I am a real girlie girl) on our patio in front of the Chiminea.

Can I default set my color instead of having to change it each time? I need to look at that.

Oh and I watched Heroes. All I have to say is someone better get that *** before Mr. Muggles thinks it is a Snausage.

Do you pay ahead of time ?? Does it cost more if you get a higer Category room ??

So you could book a 12 and end up with say an 8 ?? do You have to pay extra ??

you can actually get a GTY in almost any Cat. and you only pay for the one you booked, they try to sucker you into falling in love with the view so the next time you book you will just go ahead and pay for the view ahead of time instead crossing all of your fingers and toes and doing a silly little please, please, please dance.

I know this is probably a little off topic but I had a real eye opening experience when I was at our manager conference at Disney World. There were numerous people that were bad mouthing this and complaining about that and were ready to go home as soon as they got there. In fact, we got souvenir Mickey ears with our names embroidered on the back and one person had the audacity to throw them away as soon as he got to his hotel room. And he bragged about it! The funny thing was that I didn't feel angry but rather sad. I was sad for them that they couldn't feel the "magic" of Disney. Call me an old sentimental fool (no age comments Jennifer ), but I do "feel it" when I at WDW or especialy on a cruise and I am a kid all over again. Jennifer will tell that I am big kid on the inside, and you know what...I am OK with that. It keeps me feeling young and helps me keep my sanity in a hectic and stressful environment at work. I don't want this to sound like a religious speech, but I hope those people at the offsite can one day feel it as well and experience the magic that we all have.

The gty works for all categories AFAIK. Like booking a hotel, you get a class of room not a room number. Paid for it the same as any other booking, at the price for whatever the gty is. I have heard of 12s being bumped to 9s but that's pretty darn good. At that point it's like any "surprise" upgrade, no additional fee attached.

Everyone raves about Heroes. We may have to bow to "peer pressure" and watch it this season. I know it started last week, but we could always get the first episode off XBOX Live. I thought I saw Bill watching it last week in passing. I'll have to ask him what he thought of it.
