I like to get on and browse occassionally, but not big on posting. However, we would love to be involved in the Secret Santa. Who do I need to contact to be put on the list?

The cruise still seems a long way away until I start thinking of things I need to do before it is here. Then it seems pretty close. Can't wait!!

Try looking here, it has all the right links and stuff...

I know what you mean, I just realized, heck, two months! And, um, we still don't have airfare booked...:rolleyes1 but there's Thanksgiving and Hallowe'en and lord knows what else between now and then...fall is such a busy time.

I just called DCL about prices for the cruise. By changing from our Cat11 to Cat 12 GTY I saved $770.00!

and I still keep our room credit. :thumbsup2

Cool! Congrats! I just found the quote for a cat 11 from the TA we saw a week or two before we booked, and it was...$1300 more than we paid for the 12 gty. Hmm, wonder why we didn't book with her...

Anyway, that is a GREAT deal, good for you!!

:cool1: It is nice having fellow Texans onboard!:cool1: Cinderellyintx is from Texas too. What region are you from? We live in the DFW area.

I'm a Texan by birth! Floydada up there at the base of the panhandle.:thumbsup2

Big plans for the night? I'm not convinced our kids will be able to stay up for it, though I love the idea of us all watching fireworks at sea. We did a Wishes cruise last year, and they were pretty sleepy by the end of it, which was only--what, 9:30 or so...

We had DGS with us last year. He is a dancin' fool and on Pirate night he was just so tired. He would come lean on me and say he was ready to leave, then another song would start and he would be back out there! :rotfl2: Finally, enough was enough and he asked to go to bed. pirate:

OK, DH is home and hungry popcorn:: I need to make some dinner and he wants the computer to check his Stocks, Pin Trades, Emails & Sports Scores

:surfweb:

Back Later..

PLEASEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE get a pirate: while I am gone.. I am begging you :worship:

:flower3: :flower3: :flower3: :flower3:

DIS husbands need to learn to make their own dinner and get their own computers!!:surfweb: :rotfl2:

Yes, the Secret Mickey is suppose to be "fun" and anything that is given will be greatly appreciated! So, let all have fun with it!

Yes, stickers, any little thing. It is just so fun to find something - anything - in your stocking. Last year DGS patted the stocking every time we returned to the room to see if anything was in there. What fun!:thumbsup2

Emily turned a small mess into a bigger mess by turning the fan on in the office. Paper just went flying EVERYWHERE!:scared1:

Ok, so dh and I have long considered a visit to Texas, it just sounds--like no other place. We actually were thinking we'd book it in the next year, finally--coincidentally ordered a travel pack last week. I have a friend in Dallas, but we'd also kinda like to be able to spend some time in Louisiana...(dh is Acadian, or what the "Cajuns" came from). Would July/August be too hot for us low-melting-point Canadians? The kids start school after Labour Day so we'd want to go while they were still out of school.

July/August is MISERABLE here! Don't do it! Just my opinion. I am originally from New England (MA) and still am not use to the summers.

Mmm. Yes, that's what I'm thinking...and it'd be no fun watching the fireworks if dh was in the stateroom with the kids, and even less fun for him if I was doing it!!

Still, we'll at least have fun at dinner. Do the grown ups dress up too? I have reeeeeeally cute outfits for the kids.

Hey now, I do the cooking in our house, and we have 6 computers. 4 of which are running *right now*

Hold on, I have to go catch some computers...

Hmm, I was afraid you'd say that. School doesn't end for our kids until June 30. We're already taking ds out for two weeks in Dec., between the jigs and the reels. We did go to FL in May/June in '06 and were not exactly murdered by the heat, but we did need to scale back our plans considerably to cope.
