When we drive from Baltimore area we try to leave early AM to avoid the DC traffic! :scared1:

The last three trips though SWA has had such great fares that it was cheaper to fly. :confused3
We have yet to venture on an airplane with all three children. :dance3: That is one of the reasons we were thinking of doing a Trans-Atlantic cruise in conjunction with a European cruise in a few years. They do great in the car, but I don't know how well they would do on an airplane for six/seven hours. I sure hope the rumors of DCL going to Alaska are true. That would be one of our "dream cruises". The current ones are so expensive. I can't even imagine what DCL would charge!

I need to call my DW. She's at work (where I should be) and I ought to see how she's doing.

Later. :yay:

We like Dunkin Donuts coffee better..

Oh and our Stop & Shop grocery store is now going to be adding a Bank, a Starbucks, and something else.. :snooty:

The bigger pirates are intimidating ours. :lmao:

Hey Bill! Aren't you suppose to be coming home?!?!?!?! You aren't texting and driving again? :lmao: This site is hazardous to Bill's health!

It's so hard to find Dunkin Donuts in the south and I only know of one in the whole North Texas area. :( Jennifer really likes their donuts so I make sure we stop if we see one while travelling.

Stacy - sometimes, when the smilies don't work for me, if I mouse click somewhere out of the text screen, then click back to place the cursor where I want the smiley, it'll work on the second try. That's the only thing I've come up with though. :confused3

Jennifer - where is your family in VA? I was born and raised in Salem - right outside Roanoke.

Mmmmmm! Dunkin' Donuts. Bill and I were just talking about them the other day. We don't have one near us. :confused3 I am not a coffee drinker, but they do have good coffee and my favorite chocolate glazed donuts. I miss them from up north. I haven't hear about a Stop & Shop since I lived up north either. Starbucks is taking over the world! My Dad lives in MA. He is a DD coffee drinker. However, always when they come to TX his eyes would light up when he saw a Starbucks. He was like a kid siting a candy store. So, he called me all excited last month. His town finally had a Starbucks! You would have thought he'd won the lottery! :lmao:

My family lives in Northern Virginia, about an hour south of DC. I also lived there for a year before moving to Texas. I've been to Roanoke. I took a bus from DC to Little Rock, Arkansas to visit my sister one year. That is a story for another day. . . The bus stopped in Roanoke.

I have been trying for High Tea for over a month.. No such luck.. DCL told me to show up at the cruise and go deck 3 forward to Rockin' Bar to try reserve there :guilty: But I am running directly to the spa to try and reserve a Hair appointment for Formal night..

I wonder if they would let me book an appointment FOR you, that way you can check on high tea?? :confused3 DW and I are looking at doing the same thing when we get on board; go straight and book a hair app't for her for that night. I wonder if I could just say I was your "husband" and book it for you or if I have to have your KTTW card?? Waddaya think??

A little more than 20 hours.

Most of the time we drove to Shreveport down to New Orleans and then across. I have been adventurous and taken I-20 to Atlanta then down I-75 :sad2: . Once I took I-20 to near Birmingham and then down some smaller highways to I-10 ..... bad idea!

We drove a similar route on our anniversary from Arkansas: Went to Memphis, to Birmingham, over to Atlanta, and then I-75 down to Disney and made it in 13 1/2 hours with only doing 5 mph over the speed limit. :thumbsup2

Bill jokingly (okay, half-jokingly) looked at his work's internal website for a position at their NC office to be closer to WDW and the DVC properties. Of course, I have family in VA too. So, that would have been nice to live closer to my Mom. But, no luck. :confused3 There were only lateral moves. Now, that would be "Disney Obessesive" and I love him for it!

I gotcha beat. Tina and I both looked into quitting both of our jobs and just moving to Orlando to work for Disney. MAN we came THAT close to doing it, but I just hated the thought of us being away from all of our family here in Arkansas and moving down there where we don't know anyone and don't have any contacts or ANYTHING!! That, and I don't think we could have afforded it. :scared1:

Bill jokes about working for WDW when he retires. However, I think that may kill some of the "magic" if he worked there. I majored in Recreation and Leisure Management in college because I wanted to work at WDW. However, I never made it down to Orlando until I met Bill.

Well, it's time for me to go home and cook Pooh_Girl some hunny, I mean dinner. Which unfortunately means no more DISing for me tonight!! :sad1: With all of this talk about computer viruses, my computer must have caught something from one of you!! :headache: Last weekend my cpu crashed and it kept rebooting itself over and over and over and..... I tried to reinstall everything and it only installed about half of the stuff, so I gave in and took it to a computer shop and it's still at the "doctor's" office. I sure miss it; I feel like I'm missing something if I don't get to DIS at night. So anyway, y'all have fun tonight!!!

That was another fear I had!! Tina had a guy come into her office the other day that had done the college intern program and he said the thing that messed with him the most was walking underneath the park and.... [shield little kids from this]........

saw Mickey w/out a head!!!! :scared1: He said he is now traumatized and I think I would be the same way!!!!

So anyway, y'all have fun tonight!!!

Have a great evening.

I'm off for now too. . . Bill is on his way home and I need to get Will into his football pads for practice. Now that the season is almost over, I am getting to be a pro at his pads. Hopefully, he'll want to play again next year. We may be on later. . .

- Jennifer

OK..... NOW I'm off for the night!!! BTW, Jennifer: IT'S GREAT HAVING YOU BACK ON HERE!!! CONGRATS ON THE COWBOY WIN LAST NIGHT!!!! :cool1: Sorry Bills fans!!!
