Yes - in August 2006, we were a party of 8 (6 adults plus 12 & 13 year olds) and it worked brilliantly for us... It's esp. worth it if you like to dine in the Signature restaurants... :cloud9:

We like the Signature rest., but sometimes my DD and I share meals so we have stayed with the DDE card. Still opened in the future to try DD.

As the pound seems to be on the slide, I thought I would pay a bit more of the cruise off, we still have a year and a bit, but we might not get $2 to the £ for a time, or even again! We have fallen against the euro as well to an all time low.

Sounds like a good thing to do, Depending on how much my bonus is this year I might put some toward paying for this cruise.

Who do you support??? It rules in our house too...

I support the teams I coach & that my boys play on & my own team (old dude's league!) of course!!

Seriously, as I am sure you know, American interest in soccer isn't all that inspriring (though at the younger ages more kids play soccer than any other sport). There is no professional team (MLS) close enough to us to support (NY Redbulls are the closest). Internationally - it's a mixed bag in our house. I follow Celtic (my Scottish heritage) though everyone else follows A.C. Milan (DW's Italian heritage).

As for our favorite Premier League team - it is Everton. Long story - but we have a very good friend over there and that's his favorite team and we've been following and watching them now (doesn't hurt that their keeper, Tim Howard is from NJ either!). My boys are probably two of the few kids in the U.S. that can be seen sporting an Everton kit!

We host a soccer camp each year and host a coach from the U.K. in our home for a week. Our coach from a couple of years back got "displaced" shall we say and he came back and stayed with us for about a month before he was able to get back to England. He was unbelievably grateful that we opened our home to him. We've been friends ever since and he had come back to visit us again last summer, but not as a coach - just to hang with us.

Thanks! Soccer (football for our UK buddies) rules in our household....

Soccer is good! Both of my kids play (DS 3 years so far and DD 2 years) but I don't think they'll play anymore. :confused3 Last year for both of them was miserable so I guess it just isn't their thing. Darn, I was liking being a soccer mom!!

Morning Everyone,

Wow you guys have been busy.....

It's been a late start for us today since DD14 didn't have school today due to Ice/Sleet, this is the second no school day this week. The other one was Monday for Fog due to it being 50 degrees and all of the snow was melting.

I guess the NO School Dance she did around the house last night really worked, it was pretty hilarious..

Have a great Day All -
Denise

Hi Denise! How many days has she missed already? We've missed 2 and I'm hoping we don't miss any more so they don't have to make up at the end of the year.
