Did you say you were booked on that cruise at one time??Or did I imagine that?????

Nope, I was never on that one, I wanted to but our school starts before the ship gets back, so we booked the Mexican Rivera instead, Thats the one we cancelled for this cruise.

Looks fab doesn't it?!! :thumbsup2 We were supposed to go from there in November for DH's birthday but a combination of a sick dog and strikes in Paris meant we had to cancel. :sad2:

Wow!!! Good luck with that!!! :cool1:

We shall see, is the Monday 1st Sept that needs work on it as I get off ship at 7.35am.

I'm sure you can make it to MK, Andrew, even if you're flying home that day!!! Fingers crossed for you...

On my last two cruises, we met at the drink station by the Mickey pool at 3:00. This was a good time for the kids that were emailing eachother to meet. While the parents chatted and got to know eachother the kids swam. I found that if the kids didn't meet the first day, there was a good chance they may never cross paths.

We were lucky, we had a mini meet before the cruise at WDW, since a few of us were there before the cruise, I had rented on of the boats to see the wishes cruise .

Glad u like
That sounds like fun, have a great trip
Thanks
I'm ok with the linked dinner, It's even better when you can have good table mates.
So marks out of 10 for 2006??????????????????????
Looks like we all think alike, I have the same cabin again for this cruise,
My T/A did it for me, I wanted port side for Panama and she got me the same number for 09, previously I have been starboard. I like the area towards the aft lifts, near but not too near ro topsiders.

It was a boring night :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:
Nothing on TV?popcorn::

We have the same cabin for the Mexican Riviera sailing as our last cruise and tentatively have a request in for it should it become available on this one... :goodvibes

That bit is still not organised, I do not have DCL transfers and I just have to be at the airport by about 4pm, I was thinking about private car hire and the could do it, but I am leaving that bit to the last minute as I can purchase DCL transfers on board, (In Barcelona I pre paid but they never checked and lods of people went on the transfers for free!)

That's another excellent idea! :thumbsup2

The kids on the MED cruise had a 'meet' near the Mickey pool first day, a lot turned up and then they went around the ship.

I didnt have to worry about DD in 2006, she wasnt old enought to roam the ship on her own. Being 12 in 2009 guess I will have a new set of worries.

Here is a picture of most of the people from our meet thread. The group's picture has been posted multiple times on the Dis so hopefully it's OK for me to put it here. Sorry if this is one I've already put on the thread. This was taken before we started the wine tasting.

I missed our picture in 2006, forgot about it.

Well in 2007 Stephen 8, was given free to roam privileges by me and apart from a lot of pizza eating he was fine. I intend to allow both again in 2008.

Catlin might want to see Alice she will be 13.

Are you flying with VA? If so, I guess you could book a towncar straight from the terminal to DTD and do the remote check-in (opens around 8/8.30) so you can get rid of luggage before heading off to MK for the day...

I can see my DS doing a lot of that! And hotdog eating! Plus he's threatening to stalk anyone who looks like they might be setting up a midnight/dessert buffet... :rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl:

We talked about it but it never materialised which was a shame. :cool2: Ah well, at least it'll be easy enough to arrange one on the Mexican Riviera cruise - I'll just have tell DH and DS to say "cheeeese"... ;)
