All this Palo/meal talk is making me hungry...............

Thanks for asking. It has been raining for about 18 hours straight now, which hasn't happened in several years. We probably got the same amount of rain in the last day that we got all of last year. It's not too bad in my area, but there are probably some pretty bad mud slides in the burn areas. For me, it is just a good day to stay home and DIS!

I'm really looking forward to experiencing Palo in all its forms, dinner, brunch, tea, bring it on!

I MISSED IT!!!!!!!!!!! I didn't even know when it was and forgot to check! I think I need to go make some brownies or something now. I didn't even eat any Mickey bars. And we only had chocolate chip cookies and milk delivered to the stateroom one night. Thank goodness we are doing another cruise!

I have been trying to convince my DH all day for us to do a 3 day DCL before our AKV vacation in May. He told me to find out pricing, that's half the battle . I hope we can, I don't think I can wait 19 months to go on another DCL, and since we'll be down there anyway

I had been on a number of DCL cruises but never got to the cake buffet before the Med in 2007, I hope on the repo this year with 15 nights i can schedule it in.

I walked by it when they were setting it up on the double dip, but then I had to go to the clubs to pick caitlin up. , after taking her back to the room, I just crashed. All I could think of, if I brought her to the midnight desert feast on deck 9, with all that sugar I would never get her to sleep that night most likely me either

For our October cruise we have our dining linked and some of us are sitting together, then the rest of us are just seated in one section of the dining room...
My last cruise we had the best seating we were seated right near the window in PC and Lumineres..............Went out for a ride today with DH and the kids and it was tooo much I feel asleep on the way home. I am really getting old....LOL!!!!!!!!!!!

Since we are thinking of going in the summer to DL, I'm not sure if we will get down to WDW this year.

But I have learned never to say never.

I jusr wish it was closer. were not a big fan of Flying, so the past 3 years were have drivin / autotrain to FL.

But We will be flying to Calf.

The deck party is a great idea, and in the Med we had lanyards made for our Dis group, to help meet up, we also posted all our pictures, ( closer to the cruise) on the front page to put names to faces and did lists of disname and real name.

Dinner as posted above is a little different with so much going on I find it difficult to meet up with a large group. You can say hello and good bye, but I found before there was little time for anything else, I have to focus on my kids and help them, food etc.

Sound just like my last cruise, even on our 2006 cruise where we had arranged group tables for dinner, that many people in one area, a lot of time it really is hi and bye.

We linked our ressies with 2 other couples I met on the DIS for our Western Caribbean cruise and it worked wonderfully! We sat at a table for 6 and had fab evenings laughing/sharing/chatting with our tablemates! Happy, happy times...

This time it'll just be the three of us so would gladly welcome the opportunity to link with others again...

Wow!!! That midnight buffet looks something else!!! We missed it last time but my DS has just seen the pics over my shoulder sooo there's no way we'll be missing it again!!!
