We used their formal wear program the last time & unfortunately had a bad experience. The minor issue is that my tux had one pant leg unaltered. That was an easy fix - the seamstress came to our cabin measured me and fixed it quickly. Best bit of advice I could give anyone is to try the stuff on immediately. Not exactly what you want to be doing the first night, but they don't keep a vast inventory of replacements.
The major issue was for one of my son's. The pants were the wrong size. We confirmed the measurements we sent (had a copy with us) and they delivered the wrong size. He couldn't even get them buttoned. They had zero kids pants in stock, too. The seamstress came up and then she worked with the smallest men's pants she had. It looked pretty bad - very baggy. Then to top things off - the sole of his shoe separated from the rest of the shoe while walking around!
A guest relations manager met with us, but it really wasn't
DCL's problem. He actually took some pictures and we did receive a call from the formal wear company (they actually called our home while we were still on the cruise!?!). They refunded us for my son's tux.
My boys absolutely loved getting all decked out in the tuxes. I will say there were very few boys who did this - as well as a small percentage of men. The pictures from the waist up looked great, too!! So for this cruise I guess we'll see... It's actually cheaper to buy a boys tux then rent one so we may go down that road. Not really sure yet though.
